The Cavalon is simply a dream. Wish it had more storage for cross country. Daniel Deushle's music made the video more enjoyable. Glad I watched.

Very nice flying and video. I wish these were more accessible to more of us. It takes a financially successful person to afford one. I have wanted one of these, or a version of these, for several years. It just isn’t in the cards. I have to rely on my motorcycle to live and relieve the stress. It’s too bad because these appear to be very useful as well as fun.

Unless you're too old to make a change, perhaps you can find a more lucrative line of work ? Don't be an old man like me always looking back thinking "I shoulda, woulda, coulda..." Make it happen if you can !

Nice video I have not flown the new 915 Cavalon yet but my goal is to upgrade from my current 914 to the new certified version in 2021 if possible. I am in northeast Pa. and with the virus going on I have not had a chance to get down to Baybridge to fly the 915 yet but hopefully in the not so distant future. I put 600 hours on my Cavalon in the first 2 years and currently have 897 total hours on it with very few problems and it is a wonderful aircraft. Fly safe and fly often.

I love flying our 914 Cavalon too, but the new rotorhead and the power from the 915 make it a really next level aircraft. Hope to see you flying somewhere soon!

Very Nice. Excellent production, filming, editing AND flight sequences. Landscapes, lakes, water, AND San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf. What's not to like? What is the background on the new company name? Great video. Thank you Mike and crew. I'll be watching for more from you guys.

Thanks! Hopefully we'll have a lot more fun videos coming soon. Shortly before we moved to California, we changed the company name to Cierva Aero to reflect the legacy of the gyroplane and its inventor, Juan de la Cierva. You'll have to come see us out here!

What is the improvement on the Rotorhead?

The new rotorhead has a shorter teeter tower, as I'm sure you've already noticed, a slightly smaller ring gear, and an improved prerotation system. The practical upshot is that it feels considerably smoother on the stick and can prerotate to 300 rotor RPM, compared to the previous version's ~200 rpm.

Is there any storage area for small luggage?

We usually put any baggage we have either behind the seats (if it's small), on the shelf behind the seats, or let it serve as a co-pilot if we're flying solo. There is no separate luggage compartment, though.
