I am also on my 4th year of using these lights. I did simple mapping in one try - seems to work fine for the 1,200 lights on my 14-foot tree. I modified my lights this year - used silicone to glue on clear plastic 1.0 X 0.5-inch "strawberry cones" to each Twinkly LED to fill the tree with much more light than just the normal "dots" (pulled the cones off of cheap clearance light sets I got last January).
@@GYATEZ That's just what some call them. Search "faceted C6" to see what they are. Paid $1.50 per 50-light strand, so $0.03 per light. It took about an hour per 250 lights to glue them on to the Twinklies - so much more vibrant!
