I remember doing a detailed dashboard for a customer company. After a presentation the big boss asked if it could be a bit more simple for him. I told him, yeah.. we could strip this, merge that. But he wanted even simpler. So I jokingly told him he could have a semaphore with two colors good/bad. He rejoiced. That was the moment I knew I have to get out.
Woah, on my 200 people studio we had like 3-5 worker PCs on Jenkins for building and only 1 devkit of each platform to Dev/QA stuff only. His stats are really another level. :o
@@wyattx008 Pipeline scripts are declared in Jenkinsfiles. Some official tutorials here jenkins.io/doc/book/pipeline/jenkinsfile/ but search-engine is your friend too. ("Jenkins configuration as code" is another thing to search for).
Yeah, and the guy is the technical director. He should know all this. Basically they remade the wheel. Jenkins does everything they said it doesn't and I bet that Jenkins does it better than Compass.
