Władca Wymiaru water only explodes under certain circumstances. Considering the porous nature of the meat and flesh, I’m guessing any water would evaporate through the wound channel rather than explode since a laser beam is focused energy. A microwave would probably be better for exploding rodents
The side of the bucket should have a picture of a mouse with a measuring stick with the caption “You must be this tall to go on this ride”. Brilliant trap Axel, and fantastic video Shawn!
I think it should have one of those camera's you have on a rollercoaster track where it snaps the picture on the most epic moment of the ride, say CHEESE! * SNAP!*
Very nice! Those seemingly solid platforms really keep the mice from becoming skittish. So far, the best of the best go to: 1) Electric shocker dome. 2) Automated trigger-sensing treadmill. 3) Automated trigger-sensing rolling log. I like the shocker dome due no moving parts to break or spook the mouse/rat. The shocker dome is also immune to critter size differences when built to rat dimensions.
meh it’s an indoor shopping centre in which stores rent space in the shopping centre instead of having a store on a high street. Malls were popular in the 70s and 80s as a hub for communities to meet. However there has been a slow decline in people going to malls to socialise / shop as the rise of online shopping continues. Depending on where you are in the world some may still very active while others are in decline or close down. The ones in decline are known as “Dead malls”. Dead malls have a small cult following as they are a small piece of when times were different.
All the technology is good but my favorite is the oil bowl trap, simple, cheap and no moving parts to break. Also I rather the quick kill traps, drowning is a bad way for anything to die
@@Shadowtiger2564 Me too. If drowning was the only option (can't imagine why, but...) I would devise it so the mice end up under a cover plate that leaves no room for an air pocket. Once they are under water, no coming up for air. Not that minding their own business and getting plucked off the ground by an owl is a better way to check out.
Loving all these Rube Goldberg inventions! Building a better mousetrap leads to some fun creations! Keep up the good work, always happy to watch your videos.
The head pet mouse gathers the other mice once back in the cage: "How the hell did we get this guy as an owner. Other pet mice get fed and all they have to do is look cute and run around in a wheel. This guy puts us in traps that shoot us into the air, then we get stuck in cages, tossed into buckets and get covered in oil - ain't no justice my peeps!" (Other pet mice nod their heads in silent agreement)
Thanks for the great content. I didn’t know how big of an investment you had in traps. Thank you for showing us things that we would not normally ever see.
Shawn Woods: I have over a thousand mousetraps. Me: If you put all those traps out all at once, you just might have a slight chance of getting your pest problem under control.
1:55 - The vast majority of "motion sensors" aren't actually _motion_ sensors, they're differential temperature sensors. In other words, they'll detect if something hot appears in front of a colder background (or vice versa), so they would work fine with a conveyor belt. Also, it's trivial to program the controller so that "after activating the motor, wait 10 seconds before checking the sensor again", so any type of sensor could work, really. Given the "tunnel" design, the most reliable type here would probably be a break beam sensor. From an electronic point of view, these things are really easy to design and program. It's much harder to design and build a fully automated mousetrap that doesn't rely on motors and sensors, and does it job using just gravity and finely-balanced mechanisms.
"so they would work fine with a conveyor belt" Certain PIR motion sensors do not work reliably even when exposed to some airflow or vibration. Schawn had his bad experiences with this and showed it in a video (see video at second 52): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--fJKdEL9XNg.html
i would love a cannon mousetrap. ive been thinkin of making one... i have a private lake full of pike that would love some yummy Voles to eat! the ability to lower the Vole population and keep the pike fat and healthy at the same time!!!
I'm wondering if there's a risk of a mouse getting stuck in the mechanism, from it panicking and getting one of its limbs caught under the belt. Also, I loved your pet mouse's reaction to that. They're just completely unphased
I'm thinking with the self quarantine there's going to be an abundance of new mouse trap inventions coming to shawn when this is all over... Honey what are you doing in the basement all day? Building a rocket powered mouse trap launcher for shawn woods!
Watching the mice fly off the conveyor actually did make me hungry for sushi! Delicious trap and video from the mice nemesis duo of Shawn & Axel.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This needs to be placed out in a field, tilted upward with the power cranked so they get launched through the air. Then see how long it takes for owls to start catching them mid air.
That is one of the more effective and fun traps. I personally would like it set up on a much taller bucket as the possibility of them getting back out by jumping is too upsetting to not mention.
@@ShawnWoodsMousetrapMonday Thanks so much Shawn, your videos are a top priority with me too! Great job and enjoy that little one, they grow up quickly! :)
Dang, I think that one is hands down the best one ever!!! #7 looked like he'd just woke up, but was still half asleep stammering around lol... PERFECT video as always!!!
Seriously, your channel has bring the war to mice to another level, thousands of years of inventions, nothing compares to the improvement done these months because of your channel bring them to the brilliant people to think of more clever way to do
I really love those multiple catch self resetting traps. It is very entertaining to watch those greedy rodents getting caught. I would like to see more rats meet their demise but traps for them really have to be clever. Good job on your videos sir. 👍👍👍
Instead of putting water in your large bucket traps, try this: place a small bowl with 3 or 4 tbls of baking soda into the trap. Just before deploying the trap pour vinegar into the bowl. CO 2 will be generated, displacing the O 2. Cover most of the top of the trap. The result will nice dry dispatched mice.
This video was so entertaining! Watching the little critters tumble into the bucket was hilarious! I really wish this was on the market! Such a brilliant invention.
You should do a collab with Jacob 'The Carpetbagger'. He's always travelling the States looking for unusual museums or displays and he LOVES possums :)
This is absolutely magnificent, the people are absolutely delighted with the test you have accomplished with this mouse trap. You have done a great service for the community.
Eject! Eject! And then Goose died in water. Maverick was found floating face down motionlessly. Iceman, Viper, Jester, Cougar, Merlin, Hollywood, Wolfman all drowned. President Reagan cried. The USSR sold more than 500,000 MiG-28s (built by Northrop) to all countries of the world including the U.S. Charlie married a rich old Japanese businessman and lived happily ever after in Hawaii. The "Big E" (CVN-65) has been grounded ever since. THE END
this is the best mouse trap i have ever seen in my life till now...good job shawn...be safe and be happy...take care of yourself and your family....specially at this time of the covid-19....i will pray for you and your family well being....thanks..
Such a crazy bit of complex engineering! Reminds me of that old board game, where you build this complex Rube Goldberg trapping mechanism that drops a cage over a plastic mouse . . . Can't think of the name . . .
@@axelhucht5194 You need to rethink that!. As I said...I'd buy it in a minute even without a mouse problem. Thanks for the response. It's a privilege to speak with a great, innovative and creative mind.
Thank you Shawn Woods for the enthusiasm with which you have for the mousetrap. I have been using a log roll design I got from one of those early videos that is doing well today. I have learn how to eat a rat, from another of your videos, and I think is essential for survival. I just have to say, Shawn, Thank you for sharing....
@@axelhucht5194 Since your not interested in selling , the conveyor and roller traps are the kind of thing Make Magazine subscribers would love to build themselves. Any plans to put up the designs on Instructables or Thingiverse?
@@axelhucht5194 lieber Axel verkauf die Dinger.das ist eine tolle Idee ....bevor die Chinesen es kopieren und zum Schleuderpreis auf den Markt bringen.
