Automatic Highlighting of Active Cell in Excel | Learn how to Do It

Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to make this video; I use excel for personal things and suddenly, the active cell was no longer highliting on office 365. I THINK IT CHANGED -- because it drove ME CRAZY! I type well and I just could not see what cell was active when I was typing into a spreadsheet. It was so aggravating and made typing and navigating so difficult! So NOW, after I followed your very well constructed,, step by step video, my active cell highllights and I learned how to bring up Visual Basic, Hooray! I had purchased a book a number of years ago to try to learn to write html code for a webpage just for the fun of it. I reallly didn't know how to activate or use the VB and would copy source coding from other pages just as a sample to try to learn. So this is a great new avenue for me to have some fun with and I will subscribed to you channel. I can't tell you how grateful I am and Look forward to learning more from you channel. Thank you so much for giving me the means to fix this! I use it everyday!

Hello Sir, thank you for your effort. I have closely followed your steps, but when the formula =address(row(A1),column(A1))=$M$1 is entered, Excel says that " there is a problem with this formula ", so what other setting do I need to deactivate for this to work? I have tried by removing the =sign, and I am able to continue, but then the whole exercise did not work at the end of it all :(

Does this work in online version? Cause when I did this in desktop version and opened the file in online mode, it doesn't work
