This a Great Product.. Recommended. Store name: Center-Mall (On aliexpress.com) Automatic Wire Stripper + Crimper + Cutter Unboxing and Review (From AliExpress)
Thank you for posting. Very clear and helpful. I bought a tool like this yesterday. It came with no instructions whatsoever. So I am glad I came across this video.
The guide you are showing at 3:00 is used to measure the length of the stripped part! It makes sure all your wire ends are of equal length and match the connectors you are using them for.
I just got mine and your tutorial was extremely insightful especially on the less focused uses of this tool namely, the cutter and crimper. Great tutorial!
Very well done. I figured out, finally, that the yellow thing you moved out of the way for use as a wire stop for stripping an exact length of wire. Well done, my friend.
Thanks for this helpful video. I got one of these from ALDI and couldn't figure out how to use it from the instructions inside. The instructions referred to figures on the packaging, which I'd thrown out as I didn't think I'd need it. It was all confusing till I watched this.
There are definitely better crimpers on the market, but for stripping wire, I've had a similar device for almost thirty years, and I wouldn't be without it. The video was great! Well done!!
After stripping stranded wire, gather the strands tightly-twisting slightly so they will stay together-before trying to insert them into a crimp connector. Be sure the wire insulation does not slip into the metal barrel of the connector, or you might crimp onto the insulation resulting in no continuity or less metal-to-metal contact area. If the insulation slips into the metal barrel or if the strands won't all fit, you might have a connector for the wrong gauge wire.
I have used this stripper and found that this is only useful for stripping individual wires and not a cable having two, three or more wires means a two core, three core or multi core cables like computer networking cables having many wires inside an insulating cover. When such a cable is stripped using this stripper, it strips everything that is outer as well as the inner insulations of the wires so we can't only strip the outer insulation and then strip the wires inside one by one according to desired length. If a cable is to be stripped then we'll have to use a sharp knife to first cut the outer insulation and then use this stripper to strip the wires inside
Thank you for sharing your knowledge i learn today i buy wire stripper and crimper i did not know how i used it itry to search on youtube i see your vlog now i know how to use it thank you godbless .sorry for my english word i cant spech straight english but i try my best to tell you thank you.
I got mine from aldi ... now I might be wrong but there colour coded think yellow is at the bottom for crimping aren't they colour coded or am I wrong as I never used these before
This is a Stanley Fatmax wirestripper. It’s a proper brand, hasn’t got much to do with Ali Express. I have this one also. Or the one on Ali Express is a copycat version of it. Mine doesn’t have the yellow plastic on the back of the head.
The thinner gauge wire did not strip in the middle, as you still had the prior strip's wire sheath still in the jaws (as can be clearly seen at 6:00)! Tool will work fine if you first ensure the jaws are clear! :)
The video is great, and the stuff is great. I bought the same thing from the renhotecic brand not long ago, and it feels very good to use. If you need it, you can consider it.
You can buy these strippers at Wilco for 7 pound and they are identical to the Stanley ones apart from the name . I’m getting some and I might do a review
Its very informative video. I really like the video how you discuss in details about the use of this gadget. I am running an online store and for support of customers, I have created a RU-vid Channel with the name of GoodShop. And I’m impressed by your video and want to share this video on my channel. Can you please allow me to use this video on my RU-vid Channel? I assure you I’ll add disclaimer about the original source of the video.
