Sometimes we want to repeat an AutoCAD command many times, but we don’t want to waste time (and an extra step) by pressing Enter to do so. In these situations, the Multiple command comes to the rescue! Join Lynn Allen as she shows you how Multiple can be used to repeat a command over and over - and to leave that pesky Enter key out of the process! For more CAD tips, visit www.cadalyst.com.

A another way I've found to repeat it is to do as she says, but when you get into the CUI, you choose where your break point command is and change the macro, eg. I've dragged and dropped the break at point command into the "standard" tool bar, you can also change it in the command list and then drag and drop into any toolbar you wish, so in my CUI I go to toolbars (on the left pane), expand, go down to "standard", then go down to "break at point" and in the macro you'll see the command ^C^C_break \_f \@ , just put an asterix in front of the command like this *^C^C_break \_f \@ , notice the * at the start, I've found this a better way fro me, others may find a better way for how it suits them.

Wow, sorry there is a better way to repeat a last command as well as enter using my mouse, and as follows, this works for 2010 version as well; go to "tools", scroll down to "options" The options window pops up, go to "user preferences", down 1 to "right click customizations", and tell the right click mouse to repeat the last command and so on. Why is this so hard for pro's to work out?, no scripts no new tool bar.
