Autophobia (fear of being alone) 

One person's fear is another's desire.

In these places I never feel alone . I feel like something is lurking to come and kill me.

That is one of the most disturbing phobias: being alone.

Fun fact: For a lot of people, it’s not a fear of being alone, it’s a fear or *not* being alone

Being alone is nostalgic and terrifying, as a child you feel alone, parents don't understand you or know what your going through. It hits hard especially at 2:37

Being alone and having this phobia makes you feel anxious, paranoid, vulnerable.

Whenever people are out of sight,I get a bad feeling there's a REASON why they're out of sight.

I believe it must be from a company that makes these subway cars internationally, there must be the same models in other countries. But I was pleasantly surprised. Oh, I remember the times when we could use the subway system without fear of microorganisms... Such good times

I find it Nostalgically familiar that I am alone in a Hotel or a Mcdonalds fun place, or somewhere like those Nostalgic places, since it's my only Presence in the place, and it's only my eyes seeing the place (Camera).

A lot of people (in other videos) comment that what you actually fear is *not* being alone and not knowing it/not being able to see what is keeping you company. But I feel a bit of this phobia when I'm anxious, and for me, is not the fear of there being a stranger in the house. Is like nostalgia, but made horror; like I have a lot to say, so many things and laughs to share, a lot of questions, a lot of wishes, but there is no one there to listen. I often tell myself that I am an introvert because I spend most of the time in my room, and if I'm home alone, then I come out, but I'm actually just annoyed if my family tries to look at the things that I do, like my drawings or the music I listen to. If I'm feeling anxious, I dread being home alone, because it means there's no one else here to distract me, to tell me stuff, to tell me what to do, to ask me anything. It feels as if I'm completely purposeless. Again, it's not that I fear a burglar may come or anything. It's that there's no one with me to kinda make me feel "whole." I am *alone.*

What’s scary isn’t that you’re alone. It’s how there isn’t much furniture or anything with you. Seeing a usually furnished room that usually holds many people without either of those things is whats scary.

I think I understand this one. I like being by myself for the most part, but there was one time while I was home alone, when I just looked up, and realized how quiet it was. I felt very unsettled instantly. Usually i can at least hear other people moving around the house, but it was just complete silence here.

the worst thing about my autophobia is that the second i'm alone i just freak out. like if theres no one home i'm just absolutely terrified. i turn all the lights and tvs on to have noise. i live with my whole family so the quiet is extremely unnerving.

1:01 for some reason this speaks to me. i've seen this image before, or something like it, it's both unsettling and nostalgic.

1:15 i was already thinking about how quickly i'd go crazy if i realized i was the last person on earth, but this scene that comforted me for a second made the situation seem even worse. yes the music and sight can be comforting, but there's still no one to return to or no one to join you in that comfort... you're just left with reminders of things that may as well have not existed since you're the only one to remember them.

There is something kind of beautiful in a way about some of these. There is such a freeing feeling being alone sometimes

for me its more like a "fear of NOT being alone" in these kinda places...like something lurking in the shadows

I’ve been watching all your previous videos, and just now I finally caught up. I just have to say, these are great. They have a very eerily nostalgic feeling that I’ve always wanted to find, ever since feeling it as a kid, and now I have. I couldn’t put my finger on what the feeling was, or what it was called, and nobody else ever seemed to get what I was talking about. Glad to know I wasn’t crazy.

these are really peaceful, besides the music. it's almost like memories from another life i have coming back.

i’ve had a fear like this my whole life but never really addressed it until now. something about waking up in a place that is normally so bustling and full of life… and there’s absolutely nothing. running around, trying to find anyone to talk to or even just look at, but every corridor is eerily empty, every room stands silent. there was an episode of a TV show i watched when i was a kid where everyone in the entire planet disappeared except for two people. that episode kept me awake for months. i think it’s the silence that gets me the most. no sounds. just the wind.

I don't fear being alone, I fear not knowing if I'm actually alone.

As a person with a lot of autophobia, not much of these types of videos actually triggered it. Then there came this video and it ACTUALLY gave me a sense of panic. Bravo!

I have this, and this is such a hard phobia to live with. whenever you're using the bathroom, changing your clothes, being asked to wait for someone, or sleeping alone in your room or in a place. anything! you can't escape the feeling that you are being watched or there is something out there planning to kill you or whatever. to sum it all up (this is how I feel about it personally): you're alone, but you are afraid you are not alone. I am so grateful i have siblings and friends without them I wouldn't be able to think straight.

I think I may have this phobia being alone can be so terrifying you feel like something is behind and around you but can't see it's soo scary even if I saw just one single person next to me if I was put in a giant mall I would feel 1,000 times better.

Me watching this, fully knowing that I have severe autophobia: All of these types of videos have only shown pictures, so when that one with the flashing light appeared out of nowhere, I literally had to pause the video and I nearly started crying. I have no idea what it was, but that clip terrifies me. Anyways, great video :D

I have Autophobia, but it's very weak and only certain things trigger it. This is the first time I've watched a video like this to try and trigger it and... it did kind of work. Whew boy.

Horrorphobia: Fear of Scary and killed you by deaths for being darkness. Is nice

I like the kenoptic vibes in most of these, but elevator one (3rd in order) is a straight jumpscare material due how dark it is. Also the tension is high on metro one, it can easily be a part of some thriller movie.

I don’t have the fear of being alone, I have the fear of thinking I am alone but there is actually someone or some entity with me…

We all have this fear. Every human fears being alone and falling. This is because being on this earth without other humans or animals would lead to a fierce mental decay, and we fear falling well because pain.

this fear is very odd and many variables change it. Being alone but on a call slightly cuts it. Being in a room with nobody but having the rest of the building have a small amount of people slightly cuts it. It's having noone around making it scary. And when the place is MEANT to have a lot of people, it's even scarier.

Bdw theres a video out there about Rouge intergalactic planets that do not orbit a sun... They are like a plastic toy drifting hopelessly and aimlessly in a desert... No sense of time because in the absence of sun and light.. You are billions of light years away from any celestial body...no instruments can ever detect these planets.. . The loneliness and darkness is ungodly... And is taken to untold new levels

I have autophobia but the exact opposite as well, I'm not afraid of loneliness. I'm afraid of something inhuman in the loneliness.
