I compare the fired reload components of the Tungsten Super Shot (TSS-18) #9 from my 20 gauge reloads fired in Cylinder, and Improved Cylinder Chokes.
If you are going to reload make sure you get the thicker Ballistic Products TPS wads and wrap telfon sheets on the inside to protect the bore. Also make sure you put a good filler to keep the Tungsten Shot within the wad as it travels down the barrel and have a very open choke like steel.

Surprised to see you go to number 9s, i would have guessed no5s or 6 would still had a great kill pattern but with more hitting power, but you knocking them down ok, and 3.50$ a shot? so that rabbit that somehow dodged 2 shots before getting shot with the third in the vid you posted on weekend cost you 11.50$?, that's a very dear little bunny.

The shot weight is different number 9 in tss is the equivalent of 5-6 I have been told there is a chap that shoots wild fowl on The Norfolk coast unbelievable anything under 35 yards is chewed up amazing load but costs I looked at bringing it in from the U S and I seem to remember just the shot around 21-24 grms was £1.20 with out components .

Rule of thumb is you go down 4 to 5 sizes from lead to tungsten and up 2 sizes from lead to steel. I have a heap of tungsten shot doing nothing so I"m using it up for scientific experiments.
