If you are buying stuff from Japan with a proxy service, I show you how Buyee packages stuff if you pay 1500 yen extra for their extra protective packaging. it is definitely worth it when you have a larger package since they use more stuff and it's the same price.
Also FedEx sucks for packages from Japan.

I often put, if in doubt, "Do Not Ship With FedEx" in the first address line, then my address in the second line. Works most of the time.

With the POR15 I generally put cellophane over the opening before knocking the lid back on. Comes right back open weeks later. Edit: when she had her hair down, I got kinda anxious…..it took me a long time just to get that off my arm hair…..

Ah yes, cellophane is a great idea! I also suggested that he just get a new, empty can without a destroyed lip from Home Depot and I think I spotted it the next time I was over, so the POR-15 has likely been saved. re hair: Aww, thanks for the concern! Don't worry, I always carry either a chopstick and/or hair ties with me so I can do stuff without hair getting in my way.

@@waffles_spectrum Sorry, I just got out of RU-vid jail. Apparently I’m a potential cyber bully. Maybe an ax murderer too? Who knows, I think Californians are a tad sensitive. ;-) The cellophane was suggested in the printed material that came with the kit we used to do our horse trailer frame. (Like 15+ years ago.)

Protects the old worn areas on the frame that lost its paint from rusting and cleaning up how it looks. It still needs a satin top coat to make it look like it originally did again.

It’s protection from oxidation, POR15 is really good for that.
