It all started on a dull morning when I ventured to the charming apple orchard. With a basket in hand and the orchard's sweet aroma filling the air, I picked bushels of beautiful, ripe apples, carefully selecting the juiciest ones. 🍏🍏It had to be quick as the rain was coming!
🔪✨ Peeling and Coring:
Back home, I got down to business! Armed with my new apple peeler and corer machine, I transformed these delicious apples into perfect, peel-free spirals. 🍎✂️ The apples were now ready to become the stars of our culinary show.
🎨🖌️ Watercolour Artistry:
Before we dive into the kitchen, I decided to let my creative side shine! Using the apples as my muse, I painted a watercolour picture in my journal. The vibrant colours and intricate details captured the essence of these crisp delights. 🎨🖌️ I'm no Picasso but I really enjoyed the process and time out on my day off!
🥧👩🍳 Apple Cinnamon Pastry Pie:
Now, it was time to whip up some magic in the kitchen. I transformed those luscious apples into a mouthwatering Apple Cinnamon Pastry Pie. The aroma of cinnamon and baked apples filled my kitchen, and the final result was a warm, golden pie with a flaky crust that melted in your mouth. 🥧😍
🍰🍏 Dorset Apple Cake:
But that's not all! Our apple adventure continued with a classic Dorset Apple Cake. With each bite, you could taste the love that went into every slice. The cake was moist, bursting with apple goodness, and had a delightful hint of spice. 🍰🍏
🍶🍏 Homemade Cider Apple Vinegar:
As if that weren't enough, I couldn't bear to waste the leftover apple peels and cores. So, I transformed them into something equally fantastic - homemade Cider Apple Vinegar. It's a simple yet incredibly useful creation that adds a unique twist to your dishes. 🍶🍏
