These two seem more 'real' than other Van lifers. They showed us the realities of living in van and the pain of using disgusting public toilets.

A friend who camp's a lot said to save water. She has a spray bottle with vinegar and water and she sprays her dishes with that and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Rinses and let dry. The smell of vinegar goes away.

In Australia we have wonderful car and truck stops along the highways,toilets,bbqs and some have showers,the water is not drinkable as its bore,but great places.All free and have used them from sydney to Melbourne theyr very good. I could not sleep in my clothes.

Nice and real. I live in an insignia estate. It's not the easiest life and I hate it when it's portrayed in an influencer type way. But you guys are positive and show it just how it is.

Nice look at what vanlife also is, being able to stay a bit inside in a dull carpark with the weather not playing nice. Still the sound of the rain on the roof is a wonderful thing to fall asleep to, at least for me. Thanks for the look at how life can be inside the little lovely Doblò of yours.

Nice vid. Just a little tip to help stop window condensation, put cat litter in a sock by the window and that should help keep it down a bit :)

Great watch, you two seem great people. I collect a 2015 Fiat Doblo Maxi van in a week. Going to fitt none opening tinted side windows (in the two sliding doors and insulate). A very basic conversion. Happy and safe traveling to you both 👍

That is exactly what I'd like to do if I had a camper van. Tour around Wales or scotland stopping in carparks etc.

Gonna let you in on a secret, most food shops with no overnight parking signs dont actually monitor there car parks I worked for tesco for years and I used to spot campers in the car park that had been there a couple of days because I own a campervan, but noone else had noticed or tried to move them on. As long as they don't have number plate recognition (which is easy to spot) you can normally stay in there car parks and they wont notice (obviously only if the car park is free to use)

I remember when I was travelling to UK and always I was in asda and sainsbury parking. For condensation you can take the karcher window vacuum cleaner. I use it every day in my wet windows.

I use wet Baby wipes, if washing myself with water not possible. If there other cars parking (overnight), it doesn`t matter, if one more parking there. If you stand far away from the shop: The shop clerks doesn´t matter, when they close, and go home. Also next morning not near the delivery trucks. (lorries) = not so much noise getting. And the trucks have enough space.

Here in germany, you can park up to 10 hours, at most places. sleeping, cooking, eating, relaxing allowed. To regenerate yourself, to get fit for going on driving. But this is the only reason allowed, if the police etc. would ask you. But you need to do all inside of your vehicle. So you have to build inside, that it is possible - like yours. Outside it´s only allowed at campgrounds and rv-places. A car-park of the shop, has it`s own rules. Because it is a company ground. Maybe there are signs, with all the infos and rules. But maybe it is restricted only at shopping time. If the shop is closed, it doesn´t matter.

Do you guys worry about people looking in the van when the blanket is down during the day? I was thinking it would be good to have a privacy screen that drops down from the doona storage area to block the view in from outside, then a full blockout at night that drops down to seal the gaps at the top. Also, I commend you guys for going with the clearance groceries, best way to combat food wastage as the COOP would throw it away if it wasn't bought, and keep the budgeting on track, the sandwiches look super healthy and delicious!

Morrisons, ASDA, Sainsburys or Tesco if you can afford Tescos prices just lately would be better carpark camping areas. Most of them have better facilities and a cafe for refeshments, just be aware of the parking rules of course. They can also make fun little camping locations localy to where you live in the winter time.

Try some bubble wrap on your windows to cut down on condensation. I saw that on another vlog

Next time make you sandwiches on a paper towel.and eat from that .save on having to wash plates and water.I do that a lot of times and i live in a house :) Also cut your onions etc on a napkin..easy, clean, convenient and disposable
