I've never had one before! I've seen people make foods with them and they look like they'd taste like oranges or apricots :D is that accurate or maybe something else? 💛
@@djsadbean they have a warm taste like brown sugar or honey, perfect for fall. It reminds me a bit of pumpkin and tastes good with those same sort of spices you'd use. They are one of the fruits harvested latest in the year and are sometimes harvested into the winter when there is snow! There's also several different types of persimmon too
I always thought about how apples a part of the fall esthetic. Mainly because I wasn’t born in a country with different seasons so when I moved to Canada for the first time and experienced my first fall the first thing I did was go apple picking with my family. So apples and apple pie resemble fall to me. Pumpkins are just a big part of fall because of Halloween and the fact that fall is the season that they’re ripe and ready to be picked.
why dont we include apples? because my hometown has an entire freaking festival about APPLES and the locals go INSANE over them ITS A MESS. ITS BUSY. ITS LOUD. AND ITS VERY VERY ROUDY.
