Autumn Sunset in the White Mountains | Mount Doublehead, Jackson NH 

Nothing beats a full Autumn day exploring one of our local towns, Jackson NH in the heart of the White Mountains.
Our first stop was having some fun foraging wild apples with a friend. Afterwards we made a quick pit stop at beautiful Jackson Falls, a spectacular waterfall right off the side of the road. No hiking required besides the few rocky steps down to the river.
After a quick lunch break, we headed back out for some more Fall adventures in the White Mountains. We set out to watch the sunset on Doublehead Mountain in Jackson, New Hampshire.
This is one of our go-to hikes because it has two summits both with beautiful views. Camping in the log cabin at the summit of North Summit is on our bucket list! Maybe this winter? This mountain is also extremely popular for it's backcountry skiing in the winter.
