Im not getting an error code but they unit does shut off before desired temp and the temp display on the unit flashes once every ten seconds or so. It comes back on after 5 or 6 minutes. I feel like this isnt how its supposed to work but I can not find anything online. Just purchased last winter. It also doesn't seem to be blowing warm air. I know its a lot, but you are the first person to discuss this particular model that i have been able to find.
1st year using it Temp never really has reached but it did warm some and on cool it continually cooled no matter what temp was set on. Had to turn off to get it to stop cooling. Didnt use it for a while due to not working anyway. Tried again recently and now no cooling, or heating at all, just blows air. I'm beyond frustrated. Had it too long to take it back. Nobody in my area works on them. Worked for 1 season but not properly. UGH
Mostly E5 error code come from outdoor unit PCB. Mainly reason is power supply to the outdoor unit. Before checking the PCB you must check the motor unit. If short to the windings or short to the ground.
Check the communication between indoor & outdoor unit. Check the communication dc voltage, indoor out & outdoor out communication dc voltage. Dc voltage should be around 9 to 45 dc voltage in running.....
Check the Dc current which is going to the compressor, is not stable. A bridge rectifier in an outdoor pcb card has an issue. Change the outdoor PCBs card or repair the PCBs card.

This error code occurs on your air conditioner due to various reasons. It could either be due to an outdoor PCB defect, clogging of the refrigerant piping system, an outdoor compressor motor lock, insufficient refrigerant, or an outdoor compressor start-up error.
E5 error means communication failure between indoor & outdoor unit. Step 1 = need to check cable for communication. Step 2= need to check indoor PCBs card & outdoor PCBs card may be faulty.
there is no error code even fan is running in the head and also in the outdoor unit, but looks like the compressor is not running and on the pcb board three LEDs are blinking, can you please tell what is the problem?
Hi. If I disconnect the outdoor unit and measure the indoor unit N to S and it reads 24v DC but no fluctuation does this mean it is still ok or should it be fluctuating? E5 error code. Thanks!
1. Firstly, the IDU and the ODU should be matched and connected properly. 2. Observe the main external control panel, turn on the air conditioner, three lights are all lighted up then off and the relay pulls in. If not, it is power supply problem. 3. Connect the black signal line S to terminal N of ODU. Turn on the A/C, if "E5" is still reported, the main external control panel need to be replaced. If "E5" is still reported at this time, go to step 4. 4. Change a new main internal control panel, if the error code E5 remains, then the problem should be on the main external control panel.
There will be no Fluctuations, because you have removed the communication cable from the outdoor unit. Only one side of communication is receiving That's why it will not fluctuate.
@@Rehankhan_HVAC_TIPS brilliant. Good to know thanks. I will check the signal from the outdoor unit with it disconnected from the indoor shortly. Thanks for your rapid reply. I also have 2 of the identical units working correctly so can compare values. It did initially trip the circuit breaker before the E5 occurred.
@@Rehankhan_HVAC_TIPSJust checked it and no DC voltage from S on the outdoor unit. Worth checking the fuse on the odu? Or is it pretty much dead? I'll remove it and have a look in a day or 2. Don't have easy access to it. 👍
1) Check for gas pressure, may be leak. 2) outdoor mid coil temperature sensor open/short. 3) PCBS CARD MAY BE FAULTY. THIS ARE THE REASON FOR F4 . if its newly installed, please try for replacement or spare parts change. If warrant/guarantee is claimed in that region. Please let me know Thanks
In general, the LD error code could indicate issues with the indoor unit's fan motor, temperature sensor, or electronic control board. One common cause of the LD error is a malfunctioning temperature sensor, which can prevent the air conditioner from regulating the room temperature correctly.
F6 : external temperature sensor error, 1. Check whether there’s resistance problem, short circuit or open circuit in the sensor; the resistance value shall be within a reasonable range (15KΩ under the temperature of 25℃). 2. Check whether the sensor wire is broken. 3. Check whether the terminal connectors are well fixed; check whether the weld between the terminal and the main control panel is loose, and pull the terminal slightly for inspection if necessary. 4. Check whether the sensor is affected with damp. 5. In case no standard sensor is available at present, replace the external temperature sensor with the other sensor asides, and then check whether the error still exists; if the error disappears, replace the sensor; if the error still exists, it's possible that the main control panel is faulted, change the main external control panel. # Special attention Most of the standard resistance values of the external temperature sensors are 15KΩ (hen temeperature is at 25℃), and the higher the temeprautre is, the lower the resistance value is, and the lower the temperature is, the higher the resistance value is. Do not use improper sensor during repairing and maintenance, or it may led to the wrong temperature sensing of the machine.
