How is it better than the gr.7 exactly? The AV-8B is literally a slightly heavier gr.7 with a slightly more powerful engine (but not enough to overcome the added weight), less countermeasures and a radar

@@Casual7646 atm the radar is pretty useless since It can't carry any radar guided missiles, in the future, when it'll get the AMRAAM yes, an increase in BR might be justified (but not now), also yes the AV-8B can carry 4 more Gbu-12s, but the Gr.7 can carry Gbu-24s and has more pyloons for Aim-9; at the end of the day the're still harriers with pretty much the same munitions, it makes sense that they have a similar BR, also bumping the AV-8B to 12.0 will kill it even more in air RB

@@Hunter_i86 quick question: why didn't you try a heavier loadout with the Av8b? Something like 6xGBUs and 2 MAVs or full GBUs (like 10 or something like That)

@@finaldesertprobably due to the plane already struggling with weigh, or just spawnpoint limitation. Or maybe he didnt like the heavier ones and preffered the lighter ones. Just a guess though.

@@Hunter_i86 BTW, I would like to have a request to you if possible. Can you play and use fully spaded M-51 Super Sherman in high tier battle against the mid cold war era tanks like the T-55A, T-62, M-60 series and Centurion 105? In the real world the M-51 Super Sherman tanks were aldo used in 1973 Yom kippur war by the Israeli army as reserve tanks during the difficult desperate early days of the war. Can you play with that tank and survive with intact crews while managed to destroy at least 5 tanks?? I believe the M-51 Super Sherman is quite capable tank to fight against the mid cold war era tanks like the M-60, M-48, T-55A and T-62 especially since the 105 mm cannon can use heatfs and apds rounds.

Here’s a trick you could do: Select your paveways via weapon selection and you’ll see the bomb CCIP reticle you can use that or, when you have a spot where you wanna drop the GBU make sure you have some altitude and if you’re high enough you can slightly tilt your nose down ( make sure you’re not going Mach) and drop the bomb you do need a little bit of distance I’d say lates to drop is no closer than 2500m and as soon as you drop point nose up maybe 25-40 degrees and crank slightly left but enough to where your TGP can still keep laser lock. I’m the current patch it can be slightly tricky with the thick cloud formation but in shallow clouds you can still see your target. Hope this helps.

Use the CCIP\CCRP reticles, but anyway TV guided bombs need a fast plane, not A-10. Use Mavericks on A-10, they are better.

@@Hunter_i86 that's pretty much what I realized. Even using the ccrp and releasing when the circle meets the line, or even just after, the bombs were regularly falling short of the target

@@ElijahK4892 If you really like GBU-8 on A-10, try drop them in a dive, you will get the best results.

Because the F-16C actually uses the Litening AT and the AV-8B+ and F-16D Barak II use the Litening III. Only gaijin decided to just reuse the Litening II instead of making new instances. Sadly the ASSTA1 only has the Litening II, on a ASSTA3 version (3.2?) it got Litening III I think.

Because Gaijin is lazy and reuses the Litening II name and entity. The AV-8B really has the Litening III, same goes for the F-16D Barak II. F-16C really has the Litening AT, so these 3 all have higher resolutions. The ASSTA1 however genuinely has the Litening II, which has lower gen FLIR. Only on the ASSTA3 (3.2 iirc) did it receive Litening III as well. I made a bug report to rename the pods and fix their zoom levels, but apparently not good enough sources.

Context: when I set the laser and then fire the missile it kicks me out to third person when I have to quickly go back to the camera sight(not targeting pod) to quickly find my target again then guiding the missile to it
