QC is a much needed refreshment and a great addition to the series. just because people got used to q3 doesnt mean it has to stay forever. The saber tech/id tech hybrid has a potential and suits quake perfectly. In fact it was chosen and tested by the pro players.
Why people, go and play quake ultimate when its exackly the same as the old one, whats the difference, its the graphics.. They just keep on rebuilding the old games over and over game with new graphics. Nothing is different. CS 1.6 was fucking awsome, CS GO or whatever loosks like it needs serious rebuild. Players animations appear sluggish, and buggy
keep in mind that these both players did not know how much impact they were experiencing to the lifecycle of the game. 8 years later from the demo to this video & people still have enough care or fully about QuakeLive & the rest of the franchise.

Quake 3 was released in 1999, but only in 2010 you can see that mechanical skill got really really good compared to older demos. 2008, 2006, 2004, 2002 or even 2000 demos some times looks almost comical regarding movement and aim in modern day standarts. Took 10 years.
arrggg isnt ther a way to show clock counting up AND down? you make half of the community not really follow whats going on with items, cause I dont want to do the opposite of what I practice in game lol. Easy math but not worth it to watch when doing that.
Cypher lost a game. Is this real life? Honestly tho Avek played better strategically. Crazy skills on both of these guys its really sick to watch :) :)
This may be the most entertaining game of QL I've seen, little to no calculating, mostly just blissful offence. It would've been perfect if the 4th map wasn't so one sided
co sądzisz o kłaku czempions, mi za bardzo to nie leży powiem szczerze, szczególnie ten rozpiździel wizualny jeżeli chodzi o kolory, tekstury... zauważyć tam zawodnika jest ciężko i w ogóle jest monotonnie i ponuro, w q3/ql mimo że leciwie to koloryt i przejrzystość jest taka, że aż chce się zagrać i widać swojego konkurenta a tam... nie lubię grać w nowego kłaka ani oglądać nawet filmów z rozrywek. Mecze qw q2 i q3/ql to uczta. Szkoda, że teraz raphy cyphery evile i inni musieli się przerzucić na qc. ehh ten fimał z quakeconu 2016 między raphą a evil to był już całkowity pokaz perfekcji opanowania kłaka lajw. Niesamowity finał. :)
@@miguelpereira9859 Yeah.. But I think it could actually have been recorded at 4K, and not be an upscaled video. From googling, it seems QL is not 4K friendly, so I'm still not sure what the actual case was here. Perhaps the UI and crosshairs also DON'T shrink a ton with 4K in this game, but normally it would... But ultimately, the recording bitrate/quality of the video recording itself are not very good, so everything looks blurry at all the YT video resolutions. Giant waste of resolution, beyond like 720p, in this case.
@@x-techgaming You have to understand that this isn't raw footage from the video game, this is a demo of the match that is then run through a program called "WolfCam", which allows you to export and manipulate demos running on Q3 engine, you can choose different camera angles, put higher resolution texture, and record in 4k
