Welcome back to the channel. Today, we're on the Avalon Envision, a river cruise ship sailing on the Danube River. This is an Avalon Waterways ship, and the Envision is a newer ship - it was launched in 2019!
You'll enjoy the nice appointments throughout this ship. Enjoy the multi-functional spaces on the Sun Deck. This is the upper deck, which offers outdoor seating, houses the navigational bridge and is the location for a lot of fun activities while you're cruising. There is an outdoor barbecue lunch venue on the top deck of this Avalon river cruise ship - you can enjoy an outdoor alternative at lunch when the weather is good.
As we head indoors, you'll find the spacious reception and foyer area just inside the doors. Heading further to the front of the ship, step up to the bar or use the 24/7 self-serve coffee/tea/hot chocolate station that is just inside the Panorama Lounge.
The Panorama Lounge is the real hub of this ship. It feels like a living room, with decor that is upscale and comfortable. There is a library area if you're looking for a book. And there are many seating areas - for large and small groups to gather around the lunch and snacks served up daily in the Panorama Lounge . . .or for music and entertainment . . and for the Cruise Director's short talk before dinner to confirm all the details of your upcoming ports and activities. There is also a covered outdoor area at the front of the Panorama Lounge, so there are numerous places where you can take your cocktail, meal or conversation outside into the fresh air.
At the back of the ship, stop by the Club Lounge. This is available with another 24/7 coffee and snack station. On Avalon ships, you'll also find a water selection available in the lounge, as well.
Head downstairs another deck level to find the Panorama Dining Room. You can enjoy a full breakfast, lunch and 4-course chef-prepared dinner in the Dining Room. Sit where you want with whomever you want as you make new friends during your Avalon River Cruise.
There's even a fitness room onboard, which offers indoor bike, treadmill, and other exercise equipment.
Avalon has thought of so many details to allow you to feel at home as you unpack once and enjoy your floating boutique hotel traveling along the river.
