Avalon is a godsend for archery. I wouldnt have gotten into archer if Avalon didnt make affordable w decent quality products. Of coarse, i upgraded as i improve but theyre an amazing entry to intermediate provider of archery equipment.
Archery Supplies fit one of these to my new bow and it works great, has been reliable while I have been learning and shooting hundreds of arrows (sometimes poorly), and the colour matches the riser. Great job Archery Supplies.
I've had a fair bit of Avalon stuff. It's pretty sturdy and very cheap, but not cheap in a way that you should avoid it. Their stringer is amazing and only a tenner. It's a wide nylon tape, with good grippy rubber to grip the top limb and a well stitched pocket for the lower limb. Much better than any other I've used.
For me, the biggest thing you need from a plunger button is smooth, consistent travel. Often cheap plungers don't have a finished barrel that allows for this. This is what the Shibuya (and Beiter) does the best, in my experience. I'd definitely rather a nylon shaft than any of the aluminum ones that are out there. They don't respond well enough. The Avalon Tec One had both a rough barrel and a heavy piston. The Tyro's piston looks better, at least.
This is a very good plunger button, except that I don't like the nylon tip because it wears out ... But that's not a problem - my friend, a turner, makes a stainless steel tip very easily... Besides the stainless steel tip, the most important part for me is the wrench - AND THIS PLUNGER HAS IT! Note that the plunger only moves 0.5 mm (max 1 mm for poorly tuned bows).
Can you tell me the string that you supplied with the W&W Black Wolf, the replacement (62") strings I've tried give a brace height of 8" and it should be 7" Thanks
I bought cheap plunger for my take down bows, im using wns splp, shibuya dx for my ILF wns forged riser and also for my fivics titan..cheap not mean wasn't good..🎯👍
The "in the shop" is such a bad argument, as example I live nowhere near a shop and don´t have a car, I have to leave my city to even get to any shop related to archery.
