Most high end buttons come with both metal and either teflon or carbon tipped stems. The metal tip is for use with carbon arrows as the carbon will wear the teflon quickly, the teflon or carbon tipped are for aluminium arrows that develop grooves from the contact with the metal tip. I have 2 Shibuya's one set up for my carbon outdoor arrows with the metal tip, and one set up for my indoor aluminiums with the teflon tip. Both work as expected, it's nice they include both options for such a good price.

the aluminum 5/16-24 threads are easily smashed by the setscrew on these plungers making it difficult to adjust center shot.

They really need a piece of silicone or something between the set screw and the threads

So it's cheap. So what. But if one's form is good... no matter what.. still works. Not everyone can afford a beiter, shibuya or even cartel.

You purposely set yourself up to fail, by purchasing a defective plunger for 0.67 cents! Just to prove your biased opinion, that the beiter plunger is better. I've purchased a few inexpensive plungers from e bay, and ali express, and I never had any of these problems. I like beiter plungers also, I think their great, but, charging a $130.00, come on, that's crazy!

Agreed there is no way known that any of the components on a bieter plunger ads upto to $130 it probably cost them $50 total to produce if that the rest it just hype

I believe Skylon are simply rebranded Avalon arrows. I think they are also sold as Linkboy and Accmos. They aren't bad, but not very consistant. You might get 12 decent matched set from 24, but for the price of 2 sets you might as well get some cheaper Victory's or Easton Carbon Ones. I have not tried the 3.2mm A/C shafts though, they could be better than the all carbons.
