If you notice it, their synchronization works because there is no lead dancer which allows them to merge from different spots. Every dancer is in the front, in the back, on the sides, and at the center which means that all of them are excellent.

@@nickcdrw Jabbas are all professional dancers w families/kids, dance studios teaching classes contracts w Vegas hotel entities etc. Avantgardey are still mostly young students still on the come up and ARE ALL super cool and stylish also just my opinion.

Hands up for their choreographer, Akane. The pressure and stress she felt finding out they can't use their music they want and just scrap it out and make another routine in just 2 days and still gave us an amazing performance! Edit: Even if this routine is not really a "new" routine. It's just make me think the way they have to really connect and match everything from the dance to their new song they're going to if that makes sense. AND I'M BEYOND AMAZE HOW THIS MAYOI MICHI ROUTINE FITS ON ABBA'S SONG!

@@foraiur45 They already have a lot of success. They are very popular in Japan, and especially Akane-sama, the choreographer, is highly appreciated there. As for talent shows ... they are always annoying, because they are partly scripted and partly rely on public vote, which of course makes for weird and sometimes ridiculous outcomes.

I honestly wish they had like a bunch of categories for talent cuz there were just SO many amazing and different performers this year. I wouldn't be able to choose a single one as 'the best'! I LOVE these amazing women, I loved Gabriel, Hurricane, and so many other acts...too much talent!!!

ダンスが上手いグループは数多く存在しますが、こんなに上手く面白く引き込まれるのは、アバンギャルディ唯一無二だと思います。毎日見てしまいます。相当な練習量、想像がつきます。頑張ったんでしょうね。インスタも見てますが皆さん、個性豊かで楽しいです。これからも活躍してほしいです。

at AGT we saw a lot of good singers, magicians, dancers, acrobats, dog trainers... But we have never seen such a dance group as AVANGARDIS. These girls radiate positive energy. this is like hypnosis. you can look at this forever. This is not just a breath of fresh air on AGT, it is a Hurricane of fresh air! They are 100% the best on AGT in the entire history of this program! 👏👏👏👍💪✌️

Choreographer Akane - the leader of Avangardey cared very much about young Putri on her radio show. At the same time, she told listeners that Hurricane was so much lovable and devoted. And with this lovely Hurricane's winning, she was grateful that the tournament ended peacefully. She is a so gifted young lady with a burning heart and inexhaustible kindness. That is the reason why these girls adore her so much.

At 0:45, the audience went crazy because right after Sono popped in front of the camera doing the funny expression, she danced backwards while staying in sync without needing to get a visual cue from the team. Unfortunately, it was outside the view of this video. It was lit af.

このグループのすごいのは、全員がメインだということ、だれひとりとして目立つことなく、むしろ全員が、主役だということ。やはり、そこをあえて狙っている、全員が同じ人にみえること。こんなに人数がいても、自分が主役と思って頑張れる力強さ。全員が一致団結のダンスグループ。日本人らしさがすばらしいです。

そして本番間近で披露するはずの曲が使えなくなり、4日前から新しい曲で振り付けも新たに練習してこの大舞台でやってのけるプロ根性がすごい。振り付けしたakaneさんも天才だけど、それに順応しようと頑張ったメンバー一人一人が努力の天才だと思いました。

彼女たちがアメリカで３回のパフォーマンスを披露し、ダンスにはまだまだ新しい見せ方があるのを伝えられた事が何より嬉しい。新しいのはプロデューサーのアカネのスタイルですが、ダンサーのアバンギャルディはベーシックなダンスレッスンを積み重ねたダンサーたち。ダンス表現は色々あり、好みも別れます。ですが、『お金を払っても今すぐ見たいダンサーは？』と尋ねられたら間違いなく答えは『アバンギャルディ！』😍

Honestly this performance really sold me that Avantgardey could be a big time Vegas type show. The mix of the huge screen behind them, really does help sell that they could fill a huge stage. Idol is still probably my favorite performance just because it hit so hard, but still, great job to all the dancers and the choreographer for an amazing run.

アバンギャルディにとってweirdはもはや褒め言葉ですね！不気味で奇妙でミステリアスで生きている人間ではないような不思議な動きが音楽とガチッと合っててほんと惹き込まれます😳 インタビューの時はめちゃくちゃノリが良くて可愛いところも大好き😍 今回は通訳さんが左側←にいてくれてて良かった😂 他の方のコメントで音源が急遽変更になったと知りました。きっと慌てたでしょうけど短時間でもビシッと仕上げて大舞台で披露できるのは、これまでさまざまな場所で臨機応変にパフォーマンスをこなしていることと日々の鍛錬の賜物だと思いました！本物のエンターテイメント集団だと思います！とにかく素晴らしかったですありがとうアバンギャルディ😭🎉

I can almost guess that it was a JPOP song. The Japanese music industry is notorious for being incredibly difficult when it comes to letting their music being used or played outside of Japan. @@dejavoodoo44 Probably Mayoi Michi (another 70's Japanese hit), from which the first half of this routine appears mainly derived. Seems they chose this song for of ease of clearing rights at the last minute and because of a similar tempo.

The results of the AGT are peculiar and very interesting. The "Stoica and Hurricane" act was amusing and heart-touching but it lacked talent, nuance and any sort of creativity. This only reflects the common people's lack of interest in the quality of a good and solid presentation. Avantgardey was the leader in AGT season 18 but the common people's lack of appreciation for the art form of dance and its expressionism just knocked Avantgardey out of the competition. For me, Avantgardey is the true winner and the AGT public voters are the losers. Hope to see Avantgardey on a world tour, they deserve to be recognized and appreciated for their tremendous talent, the choreographer Akane is a very exceptionally talented lady, she has brought out the best in sync-dancing. Take a bow and come forward ladies 👏👏👏👏👏

AGTの素晴らしい参加者はたくさんいるし、You Tubeにも感動して泣いてしまうようなパフォーマンスをしてくれるアーティストの動画がたくさんあがっていると思う。でも、たいしてダンス好きでもない私に、毎日何度も何度も繰り返し動画を見させるのは、アヴァンギャルディだけ。もう予選の時から数カ月、何回彼女たちのダンスを見たかわからない。どうしてこんなに見続けてしまうのか、わかる人がいたら教えてほしい。ほんと切実に（もう睡眠時間が減りまくり…）。

同じくダンス好きでもない中毒者です。これまでダンスの世界は孤高というか、分かる人には分かるみたいな、なんとなくダンス好き以外には近寄りがたい感じがした。彼女たちは誰にでも分かりやすい形で面白く、楽しく、それを圧倒的な超絶技巧で見せてくれる。　最初は早すぎてポカーン　→　また見るとディティールの凄さが分かる　→　もっと見たくなる　→　また別のすごさが分かる　→　もっと見たくなるの繰り返し。見どころが多すぎるんだな。激しい踊りでも見事に呼吸や表情をコントロールする超人的な身体能力もその一つだし、見た目とのギャップもすごい。一人一人がすごいのに20人が完全にシンクロしてやるんだから。日本の歌謡曲、最新のアニメソング、洋楽、どんなジャンルでも彼女たちが踊ると新鮮なものになってしまう。人間の動きの限界に挑戦する努力への想いとか、いろんな感情が入り混じる。多すぎて言葉で書ききれない。見る人によっても違うと思う。こんなパフォーマンスされたら、今日も眠れん・・・。明日会社どうすっかな

As the show was based on west whose general fans are western people whose definitely bias in west performer more, and It would explain why that dog guy won. No hating or anything, but that just how it is if the situation is reverse and a western performer perform in japan show he/she's most likely gonna lose no matter how good his/her performance is.

According to the choreographer Akane on her radio show, they couldn't get the original song cleared for their planned routine for the finals. They couldn't get the original ABBA's Money Money Money song cleared for their backup routine neither. They were able to clear a cover version of the Money Money Money song 2 days before stage rehearsal (4 days before finals) but they had to rewrite the routine because the cover version has far less rhythms than the original. AGT apparently helps them tune the sound as well. Against these odds, they still managed to deliver their best performance in the competition. Imagine what their planned routine would be like if they were cleared to do it 🔥

阿波踊りいれてるの天才すぎる、、急遽、音源を変更しなければいけなくてmoneyになったとしても、予定していたJPOPの何かの曲より、これの方がアメリカの方々には分かりやすくてよかったかもしれないですね！これはこれで新しいアバンギャルディが見れたので私は嬉しいです！！

準決勝のアイドルも後半英語はかなり良かったと思うし、トラブルがあったにしてもこの曲で挑戦できたことは、他の国でもパフォーマンスできるきっかけになると思う。逆にアバンギャルディにとって良かったと思う。

This dance group has a very clear identity and iconic look to them: one glance and you know immediately that it's Avantgardey. I've been watching a lot of their other performances on RU-vid and it's always a treat to see them. They have such a fun and refreshing charm to them and whenever I see em on a video thumbnail it makes me smile.

I'm so busy with work that I only get 3 hours of sleep, and yet, I find myself addicted to Avantgardey... they are incredibly captivating. Every time I watch their movements, there are new discoveries and moments of awe, and I can't imagine getting tired of it. I'm completely hooked. I hope to see them live someday, at a distance where everyone is just in my field of vision.

During the competition they showed the greatest originality, creativity, complexity & execution, above & beyond the other acts. The skill level is a testament to their commitment, dedication & devotion to their choreographer & craft. That this performance was developed in two days, due to original song change, is remarkable. The choreographer Akane is very gifted. The music video with Avantgardey & other acts shows their ability & versatility. None of the other acts could have done this. It’s so strange that you never get bored of rewatching their dance. I repeatedly watch it and try to see when I would get bored. I am NOT a dance-watcher but I don’t know why I never get bored of it. 😅😂 Actually I watched another dance group act (the group using their arms) I felt amazing when I watched it the first time but started getting bored after watching few times.

According to the Japanese comments, they only had 2 days to prepare this dance! The original song they were going to dance to had licensing issues. I can’t believe they readjusted the choreography to fit this song so well then perform it in front of a live audience! Pure talent and skill

迷い道がすごく好きだけど、海外ならこの選択がベストだったのかもしれない。奇抜さやシンクロだけでなく、コメディやエンタメを理解してもらえてるみたいでとても嬉しくなった。サイモンがやっと心から褒めてくれてる感じなのも嬉しい。何より、アバンギャルディらしさを世界に見せつけて堂々と嬉しそうな彼女たちを見られるのが嬉しい。

Whatever the outcome, these girls and their genius choreographer have the attention and adoration of the world. That’s why Simon asked them if they sang and Howie wants to collaborate with them.
