We have used the Avanti airless paint sprayer for our exterior paint and loved it. We were ready to paint the interior but after priming the cabin, the sprayer stopped “sucking” up paint. When you are done spraying. Get a 5 gallon bucket with water and let it run through the lines . If you clean them properly they will last . Also when you turn off the machine the lines are always gonna have pressure so make sure to turn the pressure lever or knob down before taking the gun off the line

@@JM-ry3iq thank you for the tips. We do run the lines clean and then put the recommend additive in during storage as well. It was working great… and then it wasn’t. 🤷‍♀️ And the pressure…. 😂🤣, that was exhaustion setting in! Definitely not normal practice. So your advice…. 💯agree! We appreciate you watching!

I had this unit and sprayed the entire outside of my house without a problem. That was several days of spraying. Then I cleaned it and put it into storage for two years. Now I need it again and about to test it to see if it still works. I was wondering: Since the hose holds so much paint, it seems like such a waste to run water through the tube to get the paint out. Is there any magic trick to be able to recover the paint that is in the hose without diluting it with the rinse water?

Great question, not that I am aware of, you also need to flush the storage chemicals from the unit, if you used any, so it does not affect your paint.

Thanks for the short tutorial? I bought it and about to do the same. Did you run out of paint? Looks like unpainted sections behind you.

We bought this one after the pump went out on the first one. We were in the middle of spraying our cabin when it died! Hope that answers your questions. Thanks for watching!

@@r-ranchadventures so it sounds like the pump didn’t last on the 1st one. Got it. Maybe the 2year warranty would be worth it

@@r-ranchadventures they are supposedly supposed to have a 90 mfg warranty free from defects under normal use. I was just curious if the pump stopped working u see those conditions within 1st 90 days. I just bought one and used it for the 1st time over the weekend. They said i had 90 days to decide if i wanted the 2year warrenty. Maybe i should go back and talk to them about it.
