I’m sure given enough time katara could have learned so bloodbend without a full moon. She picked up the technique instantly anyways which is pretty crazy. She was an insanely strong water bender-the best of her generation.
@@XxMuSiCaLPrOdIgYxX Probably never learned how because it was outlawed. Side note; the thought of water benders being the enemy is a genuinely horrific concept. Healing wounds in a war would be completely broken! For example if a firebender gets hit pretty hard and cannot fight, they're done. But if a waterbender gets hit and can't fight; in the majority of situations they could just be healed, and get back into the fight in a scarily short period of time.
@@therealgaara7588 That doesn't count. Korra is like it's own standalone thing. It constantly breaks the rules ATLA set. Plus Katara would have ruined Korra in a fight.
Okay damn, coolheaded, heartless, calculating Katara looks good. Also the drawing style in the comic kind of looks like the actual Dark Horse ATLA comics. 👏🏽 Flameo.
@@om8039, just imagine I've never read or touched a Dark Horse ATLA comic. We don't have them here but for once in my life I was glad because of the Chibi version that came out all though they didn't let fans know it'd be chibi.
@@brittanylewis9058 true but geez how different would the war have been if it was the water tribe like they could just give everyone hypothermia or cut them with ice blade OR BLOOD BEND yikes that would probably have been invented sooner if they were the “evil ones” I’m scared lol
@@Tombstone_Active I think he was lawful evil until his son died, then he became depressed & started to care about Zuko more & had spiritual enlightment. Tbh, lawful neutral seems fitting, he doesn't hurt people if not neccessary, but willing to fight if someone's hurting him.
I would love an alternate Avatar universe. Katara looks like Azula with May and Tai Lee with Yue & Suki. I would love that battle where Azula is the good guy and the Water Tribe is the antagonist. So cool!
It’s absolutely amazing how far your channel has gone. I’ve been subscribed since you had barely a hundred subs and have seen all of your videos. I remember when you talked about this. It honestly doesn’t feel that long ago. I love your Channel you deserve all of your attention
This is a very interesting Concept The Water Tribe being the bad guys is actually terrifying especially how more of them probably mastered Blood Bending which has made them unstoppable
Mako resisted amon and shot lighting. Most fire benders would do the same. Especially if the water benders carry water. Lighting would be their biggest death scene. Fire benders where always nerfed. In this case they won’t be
I swear most people dont actually realize how much more destructive water is compared to fire, a flood will likely take way more time to recover from than a fire
Not really. The flood would probably dry up and go into a drought after a while and stop there . Wild fires keep spreading and destroying everything, homes, animal homes, crops etc. even though rain. It takes tons of fore fighters using massive amounts of water to stop 30% of it.
Makes sense, they have the ability to perform bloodbending with more leisure by at worse only having to wait for a full moon rather than waiting 100 years for a comet to show up and enhance their firebending, the avatar would simply not be a problem, not only is the mere usage of blood bending something that straight up would force any avatar into the avatar state right away, but they also have healing and if they can chi block as well they can debend whoever they please like Amon, in a era where Aang cant energybend or properly master the 4 elements or avatar state, they have nothing to fear from him and if they ever do they can just have multiple bloodbenders kill him.
Mako resisted amons blood bending and was able to shoot lighting to instantly stop it. Fire benders would most likely do that and if water benders carry water on them. It’ll only make the fire benders more powerful.
Not gonna lie, with enough highly skilled waterbenders (especially bloodbenders and proficient healers), world domination could have been a piece of cake...
I can imagine something like this happening in the actual show where after Katara finds closure to who her mother's killer was, she has this terrible nightmare where she dreams of her joining the fire nation and eradicating the earth and water nations just like how they killed off the air nomads with her new found bloodbending abilities. She is wearing an outfit similar to the painted lady but more scary looking. The dream then shows Katara killing her brother, Aang and her friends and then destroying her own tribe. She looks down at a puddle reflection of herself and who she has become and then wakes up from her nightmare. Katara is sweating and is in tears, freaked out and disgusted in herself. She's remorseful and now begins to regret what she did in THAT episode. The rest of her friends are awaken and try to calm her down. I felt like something like this needed to be shown to show that team Aang are very vulnerable to turning on against each other and giving into the madness of the war. But I do think in some way, when Katara fought against Azula in the show's finale, it was also a metaphor of Katara finally confronting her negative side. Her evil self. Katara saw herself in Azula if she were ever to turn bad and I think that was a good confrontation of Katara finally beginning to face her fears and negative emotions. That same kind of strong energy I saw in the season 6 finale of The Clone Wars where Yoda fights an evil version of himself. It shows that the protagonist are fully aware of their actions and now that they are better off doing the right thing and not giving into evil.
okay I want to know something where can you read it at what website or where can I get the books or whatever or is their a video where someone read it I want to look into more
I mean this shows just how powerful Katara could have been, if she had been trained by some of the BEST Water Benders at an Early Age. Instead of having her Water Bending be Stagnated from NOT learning from Masters since she was a Toddler.
Howeveeeeeerrr I Can See Katara In A Similar Manner To Ursa In The Series Where She Forgot WHO SHE IS AND WHERE SHE WAS And She Later Regains Her Memories And She Starts To Regret Becoming Evil Now That Sokka's Captured And As This "Comic" Progresses She Slowly Reverts Back To Her Original Self And She Later Learns Her Ways But This Is Where Lady Yue Comes In She Explains To Katara That Her Memories Were Lost And She Must Rescue Sokka BUT She Also Gets Into A Fight With Aang And Hits Her Head And Says: Ugh W-Where Am I? Looks Around And Why Are There Guards? And Notices Yue And Has A Shocked Look On Her Face: YUE? What Happened She Tries To Get Up And Falls As The Princess Of The Northern Water Tribe Catches Her And Tells Katara:"You Were Acting Ruthless And Evil So You Tripped And Fell"
