Pretty sure Momo was just a tag along pet instead of an animal guide, but still a good pet. Regardless it’s awesome how Korra managed to tame such a beast at such a young age. Avatar for the win.
The way Korra met Naga was similar and played out inversely from how Wan met Mula. Naga was hungry and Korra fed her. While Wan was hungry, but freed Mula(possibly hinting as to why Korra is the first of a new cycle. As they have the same goal, but has a different pursuit to achieve it. By working to combine the worlds and learn to work/thrive together. Instead of Wan separating them to work toward building the material world in order to understand the spiritual world.)
agreed. My take on Wan and Korra is this. Wan was the first and started the cycle and since its every 10,000 years for harmonic convergence, its a potential new cycle for the avatars lives. Raava and Vaatu need to fight so it was literally a 50/50 chance the cycle would break. She was just strong enough to get the avatar power back. in 9,997 years the next avatar to go through HC will face the same issue. So this hint you pointed out solidified my theory. (for me at least)
Roku’s dragon was very faithful too. He realised Roku was going to die when sozin left him on the volcano and died with roku. I’m not saying Roku’s dragon is the best, I’m just saying he was there too! And I love Appa and Naga. In fact, Appa deserves more recognition for carrying the GAang on his back while flying all the time
Amazing video. I am like Avatar Korra so much. Growing up I had to much energy for my family to handle. I have a cat that was just a small kitten small enough to fit in your hand and now is nearly 19 years old and still energy filled most of the time. Like me. LOL
I started to like Korra as a character in the beginning of Book 3 and into Book 4, Before that I didn't Actually like her that much and the Show took huge leaps that I personally did not like, namely the Starting of a new avatar cycle; (We are like 2 shows into this vast World Let us have our favorite Avatar past lives, please for god's sake). But the thing that always interested me from the Beginning of Book 1 was Korra and Naga's Relationship. Every Avatar's Relationship with their Animal Guide is very Cute and spectacular because they treat them as Friends instead of a pet. That makes me the most happy.
well for starters, there's comics for Avatar Kyoshi like the Rise of Kyoshi. And they gave a brief overview of Roku's past life. And you could find out what happened to Kuruk and his fiance and other stuff through technically canon video games on ATLA.
I actually met my old pet duck that way. I was walking and I heard a lil quack I followed it and I saw a small duck lost. I fed it and stayed with her. After a few hours I brought her home. 💖
Probably due to the fact Aang didn't want to be and had to learn quickly to be capable of bending all elements. Since Korra, as with all other Avatars, is the opposite from their predecessor. She innately wanted to be and discovered almost immediately she could manipulate multiple elements(though not mastered; it took 17 years to control the ones she knew. Similar to the time Roku took during peace provided by Kyoshi). I look at it as Korra is a warrior in a garden; one that had to learn the complexity of her era. Aang was a gardener in a war, that had to rise up against a rather straight forward opponent.
@@jonathanjohnson6727 it took Aang 112 years to bend other elements and it took Korra 4. The avatar cycle is just like that, each Avatar is the opposite of their predecessor and successor
Warms my heart knowing Katara trained a young pupil Korra ❤️ 3:37 “Master Katara says I have to get good at waterbending before I can learn the other elements” she almost burns Naga kind of like how Aang burned Katara by accident
I've been practicing and learning Tai-Chi and Pa-Kua since the early 70's. When my daughter introduces me to Ang and Kora it was like completing a circle that started with Green Lantern, who could turn will power into physical power. (Although at the time I mistook will power for intellectual power).
You are an even better youtuber than i thougt😵 (and Thats saying a lot, considerring i allerede loved your Channel a whole lot) now you are Olso thocing to oplouad an interesting video on my birthday, thank you fore making my Day even better👍.
What a nice story on how Korra met Naga. Wish they showed it in the show in an episode on how Korra met Naga Just a small segment from any episode would've been great to see.
Now this is a GREAT story, not to mention it expands on Korra's avatar training, showing that although she could use the elements beforehand, she couldn't control or master them yet. I wish they told this story in the show, as me (and I'm sure other people) saw her past before the start of LOK empty and 2-Dimensional.
