I love that they play in a tight formation like in the music video. Their stage presence and passion for putting on a good show visually as well as musically is really amazing. edit: it looks like Johannes is mimicking the way the "Colossus" moves sometimes, too. Really, really cool.
If you liked this as much as me check out their main video too as sound in live concert recordings can't always be so clear, the studio recording of this is right at my quality level. Prefer the live show, but prefer the sound quality here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mLMCsFjawNU.html
Ok...I gotta give them the award for stage presentation!!! Standing in a unified formation like that and playing....WOW!! John, the drummer, standing and playing also not breaking formation...not missing a beat...holy s**t!!!! I already loved the song...and the group...but ....WOW!!! #Avatar #supportourmusic
I've seen them live three times, and next time they are anywhere near I'll go again. They perform for two hours, not your regular one and a half hour show and let's cash in and go, they really enjoy it themselves. And that's the way it should be.
Avatar needs to cover 'Instruments of Destruction' by NRG. Their crunchy guitar sound with the awesome vocals of Johannes would be a killer cover in their own style of course.
Can we all pretty much agree they are the real life Dethklok. Nice to know if Metalocalypse made a live action, we actually have a Pickle that can play drums.
Seen them in October in California for aftershock. I’ve never heard of them and no one interesting was playing so I stuck around to see these guys and it was awesome, definitely made a fan out of me
Why is it important? I mean, recording an Avatar show isn't allowed? I know you can't record a Tool show, they kick you out, but is it true for Avatar as well?
