I remember playing the first avatar game on PS3 so much! I had such great memories on that game especially in multiplayer. To me it was always a hidden gem that never got enough love. I'm so glad that this game is coming out! Can't wait to get it on PC!
Yeah but theres no RDA campaign which was arguably the more fun experience of the first game since you had access to an entire arsenal of guns and grenade launchers, vehicles, mechs, helicopters, equipment, etc.
Looks fantastic , the kidnapped story arc will give us insight into what makes a navi a navi . I do not expect much from the story , but if it has amazing gameplay as shown in trailer , I will play it . Unless Ubi pulls a watchdog 1 on us again . And yeah do not forget about bugs .
The Avatar movies have played a strong role throughout my childhood in being one of my most cherished films I’ve ever got to experience as a kid. And I gotta say, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited for this
even if gameplay or story sucks, game will still be must play for those who appreciate world and details, ubisoft knows how to make amazing worlds with assassin creed games, not all were great but damn they know how to built it
Most probably, the gameplay and story will suck as i am geting strong far cry vibes from it. I really hope that i am wrong and it isn't just a gameplay of far cry with the weapons of far cry primal(for medieval weapons) and division games(for modern weapons) with just an environment of pandora.
Definitely looks like one of the best projects that ubisoft has made I would say, the game mechanics are already looking just too good, also my eyes were stuck to the screen by the visuals I mean the graphics are really awesome!, it,s combat, Parkour, crafting, survival self cooking and exploring the open world is what a game needs to be a legendary game, really ubisoft hands down to you for making this amazing game for us and I hope avatar frontiers of Pandora won't disappoint us at it,s launch also I am pretty sure it will be called as "one of the best ubisoft project", really waiting for this game to be played by me with full curiousty and excitement, definitely gonna be the best and the most worth buying game ubisoft has made, good job ubisoft, keep the good work up! Thanks!
@olsonbrandon91 Yeah Exactly 💯 that,s why in my comment I also wrote that "I hope that avatar frontiers of pandora won't disappoint us at it,s launch too"
If you look closely in both the game overview trailer and this you can see sometimes textures loading in. Bases on that I do believe that this may be what the game will actually look like.
When you look at all the studio who release broken games, I don’t know why people still call out Ubi as an unreliable studio. I feel they haven’t disappointed in a long time.
@@JBrotsis1 - Thing is, all studios release broken games. Games are never released complete, or have some bug. Unlike games that were brought out back in the 90s and 00s which were complete, didnt have addons or anything of the like. Also back then there was no cross platforming or anything akin to the cloud. So less issues of bugs appearing because you knew what it would run on.
As a HUGE James Cameron's Avatar movies fan I am so HYPED for this Avatar frontiers of Pandora game and my friend is Avatar fan too. This world looks really beautiful and in my opinion this Ubisoft's Avatar frontiers of Pandora is going to be BIGGEST game of the year. Thank you Ubisoft. We are Navi! 🌌
Same here. I'm expecting the same immersion the movies gave me in this game, not talking about the characters, physics or anything, but about the environment of Pandora plus it's perks, like the background audio, the music in the correct time, etc.
@@ercankarabayir006well no matter what we all know they won’t release a game on ps5 that runs 15-20 fps it just doesn’t happen so hopefully it’s atleast 60 and not 30 capped like star field for consoles
@@LXIX_DARKN You can come down from those dream clouds now, it's gonna be 30 because of how hard they push the realism. Would LOVE to be wrong though. Happens every gen.
So excited for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, the game looks stunning!! the world of Avatar is so deep, room for countless stories, it’s going to be amazing 👏👏👏👏
The game looks like it's based on the first Avatar movie even though it takes place 15 years later. Even the RDA helicopters are not from The Way of Water. Sadly, it seems that we won’t ride Ilu in this game
@@dawidwiechec6997it takes place right at the start of the way of water. Maybe in that year gap something changed and that could be where the end game design comes in?
the character got put to sleep during the battle of the hallelujah mountains and was there for 15 years, so it’s around the time of awow. i wonder if the npc’s will mention jake or anything like that?

@@dawidwiechec6997There will definitely be Way of the Water DLC this game was probably in Development before the movie came out
I hope you can play everything in First person, the flying sequences too. Imo it just makes the most sense to realise an Avatar game in the way you see through the eyes of your Avatar. Would definitly be a missed opportunity because the story of Avatar is the definition of immersion.
In fact, it is necessary to deeply diversify these skill sections in the game. Because in the avatar universe, living in nature, doing parkour, and protecting one's home are separate areas in which they learn by constantly improving themselves. It is a necessity of the theme that they reflect this in the game. That's why a large skill tree design with three branches: survival, combat skill and nature skill is necessary. Also, when it comes to combat, not all avatars are skilled in using human weapons. Certain avatars use these weapons and loot the necessary tools from the planet's human network. That's why bullets and guns had to be collected and handled in a survival way. Crafting bullets undermined the theme too much. After all, these creatures are not a mechanical engineer society. And it is obvious that they are focusing more on the second movie. Traveling with parkour in these floating islands and forest is more like a battle strategy for the avatar. It provides camouflage and ambush advantages. Skill development and special sections for this are required in the game. And a wide skill tree created with creative ideas in using these natural weapons is very necessary. Because the lifestyles of avatars are in this direction. That's why natural weapons need to be more prominent due to their lifestyle. In the movie department, for example, Jack spent years until his children were adults to keep up with their languages, but he had just gotten the hang of it. And Eva is the core issue of the game. There should be very well-constructed episodes, extensive abilities, and cutscenes for Eva, and this should surround the whole world like a net. Even when they die, avatars can communicate with their dead souls in a neural structure like a soul tree. In Avatar, Eva is the planet and life itself. There can be many events and missions in the open world due to responsibilities such as praying for Eva and protecting Eva. And the talent tree must be expanded for these responsibilities. such as survival, harvest and intervention in natural disasters. Regarding ikrans, as far as I know not every avatar can use ikrans. The bravest of the warrior groups achieve this by establishing a symbiotic bond through a difficult test. And this bond is in the most basic mechanical avatar. Again, there should be a broad and creative-minded talent tree in this direction.
You aren’t using the correct word, an avatar is what a human uses to become part Na’vi. Na’vi is the correct term for the actual inhabitants, since they aren’t avatars.
@@user-xh7xb3op5v I know some players prefer narrative driven stuff which they're not the best at, but Ubisoft pulled out my most played games for the past 4 years. And Massive Entertainment is their best studio, so I'm ready for a blast 🤩
@@user-xh7xb3op5v Doesn't have to as it boils down to matter of taste & how sees things through experience 🙂 Looking forward to purchase & adventuring Pandora via PS5 & maybe on Pc months after. not really, better to see if its worth the money, if it doesnt look fun or enjoyable 100% to your taste before release theres no point in spending the money!@@robinbanda1723
I played the ps3 Avatar game when I was about 11-12 and now I still play it occasionally when my cousin shows up with the ps3(since now I own a Ps5)...well that's because the movie got me hooked and to say I wanted that game is the ultimate understatement, but I after seeing the 2nd movie honestly I want this game now too, Avatar has a humongous soft spot in my heart!
I’m really excited for this, but I’m so disappointed they chose to make it only in first person. I really love customizing my character and being able to actually see them (and not just when they are riding around on a mount or a vehicle). 😢
I understand getting attached to a pre-made character, but I hope that was just an example and we get to design our character, choose male or female Na’vi, customize appearance, even choose a voice! Get really immersed!
This game is an RPG, like Cyberpunk, Starfield, the Souls saga, Assassin's Creed (since 2014), etc... So what games are you referring to? @theguy933 @@iNSANELYSMART409
That’s something I really enjoyed about the first game was being able to personalize your character to an extent male/female, different ethnicities. The important part was that it didn’t change any of the gameplay at all. I don’t see why they couldn’t have done that for this one. Unless there’s some major ongoing story element that is strictly about being a female Navi.
You can have all the graphics you want in a game like this, but if the music does not immerse me in the visualization and beauty of Pandora, then it is meaningless. I really hope the game developers spent time creating a solid soundtrack to accompany the gameplay
definitely just gonna be far cry in an avatar outfit but I'm still 100% here for that. The far cry formula peaked so well in fc5. As long as I can play on coop it's a winner.
genuinely excited for this game. always thought the world of avatar was cool and getting a far cry style game set on pandora is awesome. really hoping that the story delivers and manages to keep the epic scale that the movies have.
This looks mad! I hope that Ubi doesn't stick too much to the Ubisoft formula. It kinda reminds me of how Horizon plays, which is definitely great. I really hope to see new types of gameplay mechanics that we haven't really seen before or atleast not within the action adventure rpg genre
After Ubisoft took a break from their open world games, I realized as "cliche" and "monotonous" they are, in the era of live service hellscape we took open worlds for granted.
I'm very glad that Ubisoft took on this game, it's clear that the quality will be very excellent, as well as the plot of the game itself, I hope I'm not mistaken 👍👍👍
Sad that we do not have a campaign from the RDA side like the old game. Playing both perspective was awesome and I was in love with the marines. Hope for a DLC that add something like that.,
It’d be pretty cool if we could play as a human too (possibly in a DLC expansion). Maybe as an RDA soldier trying to colonize Pandora (since Earth is apparently becoming unlivable) or as a Na’vi-aligned defector. Either way, I just want to run around in an AMP Suit.
Get ready to use R1 to mark enemies within a stronghold, to liberate that stronghold through combat or stealth, in order to unlock more regions of the map!
Cant believe they literally removed an aspect of the old Avatar game by choosing your side. Ig I shouldnt rly be surprised though since modern AAA companies are all about removing removing past features.
@@battlefieldpro12345Is it really that unbelievable? You want another 4 hour crappy story and graphic experience just to have a side that decimated indigenous people?
Although I'm not the biggest fan of the Avatar franchise.... I will say... this looks good. It's a shame we don't get the choice to be the humans like the first game did, and mostly just due to me wanting to pilot one of those mechs. But the game still looks good and incredibly beautiful.
Ikranlar konusunda, bildiğim kadarıyla her avatar ikran kullanamıyor. Daha çok savaşçı kesimlerden en cesur olanlar zorlu bir sınavla simbiyotik bir bağ kurarak elde ediyor. Ve bu bağ da en temel mekanik avatarda. We need Jake and Neytiri in this game... or even as a DLC. As it would retell the 2009 movie. Please have the cast including Sam Worthington and Zoé Saldãna be in this game!
Played RDA in the first game. They were definitely the most fun to play as with all the weapons, gadgets, and vehicles. Not sure if I'll pick up the game if I cant play as them.
Just please, tell me we can play this game from a 3rd person view... I can see that riding is like that but I seriously hope it can be adjusted manually. Either by in game or by mods soon enough
lol i wish there's freedom of choice in this game so u can choose to fight for RDA, Na'vi natives or maybe even become 'double agent' for both factions
@@dutchvanderlinde4969 so true, majority of games are hand holding you, restricting your choices, not to mention being super hypocrite by pretending to have the higher morality ground than they are, eg. you run around and kill left and right, no taking in account that they have families and have no clue what their bosses does, they just guard the object/outpost etc. and then during the cut scene you question your ally that they are killing people and call them animals etc :D
Funny you say that, from the human perspective they aren’t even evil. They are doing it for fair reasons, just doing it in a way that hurts the opposing side
Nah man they need all the resources they can to make this game as good as possible. Imagine trying to make 2 whole different storylines, mechanics, characters and map. You need 8 years under Rockstar to make that game good and polished because those are 2 different games at that point. Theres a reason the first is 4 hours per storyline, wonky game play and pretty bad graphics. No thanks. 😅 I'd also recommend reading up on history. Like anything you can find will do. Maybe even the clear comparison to a certain people in the US.
It is so cool to have visited Pandora in ‘real life’ in Disney World and soon be able to explore Pandora again in a game. Most of the time if a fantasy world gets recreated it is the other way around so this is quite cool
Well the game is out. I could not be more happier in this game. Its pretty much exactly what i wanted. Things aren't perfect. But they are so close to perfect i cant stand it. I just wish melee combat was fleshed out and stealth kills. Other then that. Maybe some kind of "Cooking Feast" But anyways thank you Ubisoft for imo not dropping the ball.
