I know its been a while sense this movie was made but still wondering if there will ever be a second made of jake's life with the people an now being leader. There is so much more untold, like what happened to the group they sent home? Just so many questions not answered there needs to be another movie.

how can you say one of the most creative films seen in our lifetime? it's the most technologically innovative but the most creative? are you kidding me? It's pretty much a run-of-the-mill story where the aliens are good and the humans are evil. Just because it had impressive special effects doesnt make it creative. District 9 is a creative film.

There are multiple different websites saying what date it is. It's mostly end of this year but a few sites are saying it's 2018, but they took 2-4 years making the first so I don't see why it'll take all of a sudden 9 years to make the 2nd. I think it could possibly be released this year or around the start of next.
