You know what's really scary? That I could actually believe Johannes that he's an enslaver. He's so talented actor and he gives everything into what he does. Like at 2:26 or 3:35 for example. With that maniac expression on his face and whip in his hands I would be frightened for real. It gives me goosebumps to see him like that.

I just want to say I’ve met these guys on a number of occasions and they are just the most humble bunch of master musicians that ever walked the planet. I’m not fanboying, I am 49yo and just love everything they do. OK I’m fanboying 😂

i think the message of this video is that we are our own enemies. Our doubts, our restraints, our self hatred and our vices are the ones that do not allow us to succeede.

Love Johannes Eckerstrom! He bring such intensity, emotion, passion, and energy to this band in an exotic way I have yet to see anyone else do.

Love them to bits, one thing I really love is the fact in all their videos each of the band members have their own equal part unlike most bands that mainly concentrate on the lead singer :) plus they are amazing live! cant wait till they are back in England

Never heard of this band until I saw them 2 days ago at Masters Of Rock and man was I blown away with the music, professionalism and showmanship. A new favorite band for me, that singer has combined styles from several frontmen to create a very energetic and sinister character. I really like it.

I feel so dumb. I have been a diehard metal fan for 20+ years and never gave these guys a second thought. Heard the name a few times, but never looked into them. I'm ashamed of myself. On another note. I have my favorite bands, Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Dream Theater, Lamb of God, etc. and they've been my favorites for years. I never even considered the possibility that a band could come along and unseat those bands. But only after a week of listening to Avatar, I think this might be my favorite band of all time. Is that weird?

God in a casket = A Nietzschian theme of 'God is dead'. Duality of man, the Shadow self displayed in the video. Very cool. This song is very good, as are many of Avatar's songs. I'm enjoying 'Silence in the age of Apes' seeing as Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari inspired it.

Id heard of these guys but never paid much attention until last weekend when they opened for Slipknot in Nimes France and since then im a big fan, great live band and full of energy.

I fell in love with these guys with the Black Waltz album. I was so young back then, my hearing was so good. I was so impressionable and immersed by exploring music and finding wonderful new artists. But nowadays i am partially deaf...I no longer understand the vocals or the low-mid range dB's...I feel so empty listening to music let alone just life around me now. But I will always love this song.

Saw these guys live back when they were just starting out. By far the BEST concert I went too. They were at a small hole in the wall here in Kansas (Aftershock) and they made me feel like my anxiety just all went away. Love them and would love to go see them again!
