#sci-fiMusic #JamesHorner #DNSO Avatar Suite By James Horner Performed by Danish National Symphony Orchestra & the chamber choir Hymnia and Camerata Conducted by Antony Hermus Recorded at DR Koncerthuset in June 2017
Sorry Sir, but there is no such thing as talent. Only hard work! These musicians are grinding and perfectioning their skill everyday for hours on end. And only those who did put the most effort in their practice made it into this truly amazing orchestra and choir 😊
@@luigimario4458 Yes, I know on changing provinces so band was required for the gifted program and they started a year earlier so I wound up on drums or because the area was stuck in a time warp very definitely on percussion. But on leaving the area and rejoining this time stream the drum set became a thing again and so there were those in the beginning less reserved and who listened to music more who seemed better better to me even though they often don't go past the limit of what they can do easily. One year a conductor for the then only ensemble of a music and mental health non-profit I'd helped found told me I was more of a percussionist than a drummer. I was having an exceptionally non-shy evening so I asked him if he wouldn't rather have someone who played exactly what he wanted and if I couldn't would practice until I could . FTW ! Although as he arranged music for other groups and schools on the side eventually a side that began after this when after a piece with what my not so spontaneous self felt was an overly long drum solo accompanied by the occasional note from a horn and 2 bars by flute it had a dread repeat so just when 16 measures of hades for me should have ended there we were. On scores that just say ad lib I never could have done t as fear would have set in on knowing we were performing it but along with hard work and trying to be somehow relaxed enough while not too relaxed . Although every time I really had my part down inevitably I'd get a new one soon after Natural talent is a thing but without hard work it goes only so far. Music is the type or art that enough practice and whatever you lacked in natural ability has been replaced by the motor memory of enough skills that no one would know whatever talents you'd arrived on the planet with in a raw state music was not among them In case any youth read this feel that same sense of everyone is better than you initially well someone always is but consistent sensible practice beats natural eventually or ties For music I think all musicians have a strong inner critic but hopefully you'd get to where you realize you are indeed pretty danged good way faster than I did Odds seem low but just in case , Because resolving to practice more creates the wrong mind set potentially the year I started putting "Play skillfully and shout for joy" in every case, one one of my toms and of course where I usually put other resolutions not all of which had a hand psalm that at least the joy was right in there I think that helped. This is a planet in need of joy I think
James Horner's harmony is mighty. His music describes Na'vi people and the planet Pandora the best as it can. Whenever I close my eyes and fly around the notes, I can feel that. Such an amazing soul and composer. Rest in peace James Horner
He will be desperately missed. His score for Titanic (I was 10) drew me into how amazing film score could be. Shore's work with LotR solidified my love for the genre as the medium for our modern "greats" to compare to the classical wizards of old.
Would love if they played some of the music from the star wars animated shows, instead of just the movies and mandalorian. There’s so much incredible music from clone wars, rebels, bad batch, and tales of the jedi. It deserves the same level of attention.
Bravo to the Daish National Symphony ORCHESTRA, the singers, these musicians conducted by Anthony Hermus. AVITAR James Horner. All the production team 10 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This piece is really powerfull, and the rendition by the orchestra is amazing. I’m amazed by the talent and the number of professionnal musicians required to plays It. Thanks a lot for sharing It with us
I get so emotional every time I hear music from Avatar 2. ;-; Wonderful work! Thank you for the possibility to watch your concert in such a good quality.
Bravo well done! Great arrangement, great musicians, singers and conductor. The lighting, camera work, sound and set design were excellent. The only thing I would have enjoyed more would to have been in the audience.
Every time I post a link on facebook which due to the three country nature of ours is here we are one the same cousin in Denmark does say it was even better in person. I have given up pointing out to him that relatively few of my fb friends are in Denmark., Sometimes we have these strange exchanges where I initially counter a few times in Danish and he switches in English - yes it seems an odd thing to debate as of course it would be better in person but if you area a tri-nation family you have to have a side of goofy as a our sadder acts of family also happen at a distance , So this seems to be to get an upper hand every so often I have countered in German which he knows but usually I stay in English but beat him back to Danish. It gets to be a mixture of trash talk and affection but for that we both use Danish One time I accidentally used French he called foul but more of my fb friends could read and be totally confused by it It; will be possible for me to go one of these years
Spectacular! Being so eager to see the next movie, i loved this suite with all those iconic music from the original. Thank you for this marvelous performance.
My late father loved symphony music. Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops! I’m more arena rock, pop, and newer country. HOWEVER THIS IS TOP NOTCH! RIP JAMES HORNER! AND THANKS TO ALL!!!💯
