This operation for clone ecu pcr 2.1 is not avalable for v21 2014,v24 2015 is only for original...only online meton(AMS original abrites)clone abrites is not valid, does not communicate with ecu and gives error!!! Any clone attempt for this cloning method is in vain, just use the original, only you will succeed!

Hi. Can we clone used simos pcr 2.1 with AVDI? I remapped the audi a1 1.6tdi with same ecu and after unlocking with ktag and read with kessV2 but after writing the file message appeared Warning error occurred during writing and car won't start or even turn the engine! Any idea if i can clone the used ecu with AVDI or with any other tool? Thanks
hi, uhhh....do you have a full back up from the ecu?You can NOT clone this ecu...but you can change all IMMO data with AVDI and new/used ecu will fit your car.

hey shemek, great video, I had also bought AVDI recently, can't get my pcr2.1 ECU to unlock. I am working on it for almost a week now. it scans and shows me that it is locked. my boot-mode wiring is exactly as they shown in the software.but no luck. can you please help me on that.
V. S. You have got 3options: -By eeprom 95640 which is inside of that ECU on bottom side,there is loads of calculators which can do that for you -by bootmode with tools like ;ktag,ktag,galetto,cmd,etc -via obd with only original tools,this solution is available from last couple of months..
