@Cool1st the world is about as strong as star platinum, so even if he couldn't stop time, Avdol probably would have lost even if he knew how to use hamon.
Every time DIO manages to successfully brainwash one of the crew, he has Pet Shop with him. The one time he failed was when Pet Shop wasn't there. Clearly Pet Shop was the source of his charisma.
It’s because dios charismatic nature is what defines him but I feel as though the most draw stand known as Jonathan’s stand or the passion as the novel calls him allows him to channel his power more but he avoids it because the passion is a stand that fights against him sometimes or it has hamon naturally that’s why the passion is a more thick and stronger version of hermit purple
Maybe because Pet shop reminds him of he's vampire freeze power or maybe he keeps him cuz of fear of hamon user cuz he knows cold is a great counter to hamon

@@Gerac68hfrno, because Johnathan uses Hamon and his Stand is about divination while Tusk is linked to the Spin (alternate universe equivalent of Hamon)
And then there’s Jotaro who says, “if I am not approaching you, how can I beat your ass”. Not the most powerful but definitely the most badass Jojo character
@@cellardweller5245 Man, he's kidding, it's true that Abdul is Egyptian with an Islamic name, but Jojo doesn't mention religion in the first place, so it doesn't matter.
@@your_average_nerd6861 He actually isn't. He *could* be, just like other characters, it isn't cannon tho. That comes from a mistranslated/misunderstood interview with the author.
@@Ilivedbruh Dio is canonically bisexual. Araki stated in a 2007 interview that "[Dio's] sort of a composed character that could go either way. [He] could go with a man or a woman."[6] Copypasted straight from Dio's official Wikipedia page In fact, this is not only time Araki mentions Dio's bisexuality. In another instance, he states, "DIO is really into girls but doesn't mind guys either". That interview was absolutely NOT mistranslated/misinterpreted

I like how this makes it like Dio is this fierce mysterious creature who has interesting powers but dude is just a hungry world dominating monster. Him being in a coffin for over a century doesn’t make him this mysterious since he clearly can’t really gain any powers. Dude lost to Jonathan, it’s not like he could get stronger in a coffin or even smarter.
I'm pretty sure it's confirmed he is bisexual/doesn't care about the gender of whoever he seduces lol but he doesn't have romantic attraction to anyone as far as I can tell
