@@CODA96 Dio flying away across the street, with beaten up so bad, and yet gloating about how all of this is his plan.....this is what is supposed to be funny
-Increased 20 meter radius of the emerald splash to 25 -Buffed Killer Queen by adding Bites The Dust skill -Greatly decreased base intelligence stat for The Hand
I love the modern adaptation of Jojo, but this makes me think of how well the old OVA handled Dio's timestops. Dude would literally just disappear mid-frame, and pop up somewhere else. The way it was portrayed was legit scary at times.
I often think about how that the ova was the best adaptation of the fight because of how scary dio is portrayed like you say. He moves mid dialogue appearing somewhere else shows he is good with the ability.
Is Dio supposed to be scary, though? He's an over the top, fabulous~, body builder in spandex, with an orange coat and baggy pants, covered in green hearts.
@@SakuraAvalon is a creature that feeds on blood whose only weakness is sunlight or the destruction of his physical fighting spirit not inherently scary
@@kirby89000 In a world where people can catch bullets at point blank range, punch trucks into submission, strike down a guy moving at the speed of light, turn anything into a bomb and heal a person blown up into pieces by punching them rapidly? No, not really.
@@SakuraAvalon Everyone can't do that in Jojo, Jotaro is indeed terrifying to normal people and even to other stand users. He had the strongest and fastest stand up to that point. And it's not like any of this was easy, Jotaro had to go all out to get this fight in his favor and then by sheer luck it was he could also control time or he'd be dead.
For those who don’t know, the reason why dio’s time stop seems to last longer than it’s supposed to is because araki had so much detail in the original manga that couldn’t be captured in the actual timeframe.
I mean, Dio did say more than once that counting how much time passes when he stops time using normal time is a tricky thing and very hard to describe. And that kinda makes sense
I love the idea of Dio constantly wasting his time stop seconds and getting stomped throughout the fight, but never learning and repeating the same mistake again and again.
@@thexatronantch basically if dio doesnt attack with hes stand time doesnt count thats why he was counting while throwing knifes he was attackıng but if he wasnt attackıng only walkıng talking it doesnt count its not for flex or anything being cool its just facts dio was throwing knifes and counting time everytime the world opens and closses and stops counting and starts again ı thınk only if hes stand out hes time starts counting thats my theory
Dio dramatically taking off his cape only to get fucking annihilated by Emerald Splash in the first thirty seconds is the funniest shit I have ever seen
DIO is like that one kid in school who believes he can stop time and everyone freezes for 4 seconds to make fun of him, and jotaro is that one kid who has no patience for him
I mean, his ego is partially how he amassed a bevy of Stand users, so it worked up until he kept shoving them into the Stardust Crusaders’s faces and made it possible for them to kill him.
Not trying to ruin the joke but I think dio moves faster when time is stopped. He can do 5 minutes worth of things in 10 seconds. That or he can’t count
I believe that in anime logic, them talking to themselves actually realistically only lasts for less than a second as they're actually just thinking to themselves aloud, and the talking is so the audience can also hear it.
I would actually love a version of Dio where he just dicks around in stopped time and gets absolutely nothing done or starts monologues and gets cut off in the middle of them.
Plot twist: DIO was still disoriented from being in a coffin for 100 years, and so he lost all sense of time and nobody's corrected him about the length of seconds.

@Ult Divine Spinning Soft Tusk Over Heaven Requiem he did crack his skull once though, Dio couldn't even do that and it's impossible Jotaro would survive it

@@everburnerfish that feel when Jotaro’s time stop in part 4 is shorter because he’s barely used it in 10 years and something something difference between a 17 year old body and a 27 year old body but it took him like an hour to learn time stop and he didn’t even try to train it to get back up to where he was
If The World had realistic time stops, then DIO would still be a pretty powerful opponent, having Jotaros strength along with vamp abilities, but he would get folded if everyone jumped him.
@@pluggothesluggo5509 that’s not the case. He didn’t have control over time. He could just stop it. He even said himself he doesn’t know how long for, he’s just guessing.
Dio is the type of person who would stop time just to check himself in the mirror and fix his makeup instead of actually destroying the joestar bloodline
Dio: Stops time for 9 seconds, actually takes 9 seconds. Jotaro: Stops time for 5 seconds, actually takes 10 seconds Dio: *Bruh* Edit: This comment became a warzone cause of my joke being inconsistent lmao.
