I think this rendition of Mozart's Ave Corpus is excellent.....I think male falsetto voices for soprano parts often sound more pure than female voices.....these guys are very good...thanks guys!
i didn't expect this Mozart piece can be sung without the orchestra, but if feels like Renaissance polyphony, great interpretation, flowing and breathtaking.
Great intonation.....good tempo a very good performance...it just goes to show some of the best the world has to offer is an anonymous group of college kids with just a love for the music and some god given talent. GREAT JOB GUYS...how about recording lacrimosa or others
You guys are terrific!!!! Just great. What a blend and how musical you are.. And I love the ascending scale in the soprano. I am a choral conductor and sop soloist. I'm impressed.
This was awesome! Barbershop Mozart! What a hoot. Great job, guys! I enjoyed it much more than some of the other more formal full-choir performances I've seen. Nice balance and tempo.
Lo re veo y en cada vez me sigue llenando el alma de alegria y paz. Excelente interpretacion de una de las obras mas " celestiales" Gracias...siempre gracias por esta peciosura.
Just as I was going to click play on this vid I thought to myself "You gotta be kidding me!. These dude gonna sing one of Mozart's greatest!!" Was I ever surprised. Great job!!
Lyrics: Ave, ave verum corpus natum de Maria Virgine vere passum, immolatum in cruce pro homine, cujus latus perforatum unda fluxit et sanguine. Esto nobis praegustatum, in mortis examine, in mortis examine. (June 1791) Hail, true body born of the Virgin Mary, Who truly suffered, sacrificed on the Cross for man, Whose pierced side overflowed with water and blood, Be for us a foretaste In the test of death. In the test of death. (June 1791)
