This is basically A7x’s version of Metallicas Sad But True. Very similar. From the Hail to the King-album which also hugely is different songs written in a style/way as a celebration of their idols and influences
It’s basically Sad But true …. I heard this song when it came out and thought the same thing. As a guitar player I could easily hear the riff was very similar. It’s not my favorite A7X song but it’s a song that’s gets people into them so I can’t hate it
As I finished typing I thought it was similar to Sad But True, I saw your comment. Yeah, it is definitely very influenced by that song. I like it as well.
I love how the people in South America vocalize the guitar parts of bands. I first saw this phenomenon during a Megadeth dvd and then again during an Iron Maiden documentary. That extra energy on guitar and not lyrics is extraordinary interesting and overlooked 🤘🏻🔥💥🙏🏻💯
Avenged Sevenfold is incredibly unique and special, not only for The layers they create in their music or The composition lines, arrangements, and melodies, but metaphorically bleeding for their fans. With their authenticity and expressiveness, they create a very strong Connection with us, a perfect symbiosis of pain, love, passion, compassion, and sadness and Tension.
growing up around the industry, one of my good friends dad is a jazz musician, who has played for the greats. back in 2010, he told me about how incredible a7x was. he didn't particularly like their music, but he pointed out that they were a once in a generation band. their tone and stylings were perfect according to him.
ABSOLUTELY! Totally agree! They will forever be my favorite band...they are absolutely amazing live too and continue to push their boundaries with music, such as their last album...@@paulm8908
It's best to add the music video version to your playlist because the crowd chanting over it adds a layer to it that the album track lacks. Also, this was filmed in 2014, before any riots
please continue reacting to avenged sevenfold more frequently, for next reactions from this band i would suggest: the wicked end burn it down blinded in chains
DUDE I WAS IN ONE OF THOSE SHOWS!!!!!! I live in Brazil and remember like it happendes yesterday, it was literally my first live show and that moment in the crowd was when I officially fell in love with A7X! Miss those days fr
7:50 where I live these kind of sirens were used to warn of incoming bomber airplanes, let's hope we don't find out how it feels for my grandma to hear them tested every week
This means war is a very special song in Latin America, we've had a story of world powers interfering with our affairs, our freedoms and our democracy and this song and specially this music video captures that frustration, that anger of being fucked with by an entity that you can't counter very well. To me it's a feeling everyone of us here in latinamerica can relate to
Nice Reaction! A7x sounding great as ever, i love your reactions, if i could make a suggestion i would say for you to react to some of the LBC performances that (i think) you haven't checked like Beast and the Harlot, Bat Country, Gunslinger etc. Keet up the good work :)
Matt Shadows has a lot of iconic moments across all his discography. But i think my top 7 examples of him making his voice perfectly matched to their actual songs are.. 7- The Stage 6- Acid Rain 5- The Wicked End 4- Angels 3- Unholy Confessions 2- I Won't See You Tonight 1- Nobody (Not a top of my favorite songs but Shadows clever cuts)
first of all, i'm still in the process of learning english, and i'm very insecure about it, so excuse any mistake. i'll try my best. (and i'm sorry to write too much) taking advantage of the fact that the clip has Latin American feelings and the brazilian flag appears, a friendly hello from Brazil, Rachael. But, what i really want to say is that i've been watching your A7x Rayactions, and considering that, for no reason, I spent a couple of years without listen to their music, it's almost like have the taste of discovering them for the first time again. And, of course, it's always nice to celebrate Rev's legacy, right? just to finish, wouldn't you consider react to Jeff Buckley stuff? if you do, here two suggestions: Lover, You Should've Come Over (from Live in Chicago) and Jeff Buckley - Grace | BBC | The Late Show | London | 1/17/1995 | HD
Could you please do Mezmer from Pinkly Smooth? Pinkly Smooth is a former band of 2 members from Avenged Sevenfold (The Rev being their vocalist together with Synyster Gates being their guitarist) in 2002 I really love your reaction cause you're not only response the music but you also try to understand the meaning of the music and also the way you talk is incredibly expresive😍🤟 Thank you so much💗
Love these videos. This Means War is way better with the crowd compared to the regular track. God Hates Us Rock Anthem 2011 has to be your next A7X video. Matt will make your ears melt.
this album had so many controversy , especially with the drum and how people hate arin even the band feels like arin doesnt have an exact taste/vision for the band. but i cant ignore this album is the one of the best for the mainstream listener. its easy to understand and enjoy but still a little bit heavy
@rayactions There was a lot of metal bands on the channel but not Megadeth yet. I recommend You to read about Dave Mustaine and start with "Holy Wars... The Punishment Due" 🔥Can't wait 😄
