The perfect follow up to this song is Desecrate Through The Reverence by them. It has the angry and bitter tone and the lyrics somewhat resemble eachother. (Its also my current favourite song off of Waking The Fallen).

City of Evil had Shadows doing the backing vocals as well as the lead. The next album was self titled, and that's when the other members started doing the backing vocals, so it would sound more like it would sound live.

This song is about Matt's anger at music magazine columnists. When Matt started talking about his political views publicly and wanting the band to be the best in the world, reviewers took his quotes out of context and started calling the band racist, homophobic, narcissistic bootlickers. They gave the band terrible reviews without listening to their music, and Matt viewed them as parasites who only had jobs because they could leech off of the popularity of artists while hiding behind free speech. Guns N' Roses released a similar type of song called Get in the Ring in 1991, and Matt loves the Use Your Illusion albums. It was most definitely an influence on this song, especially on the topic, attitude, and vocal styles. No surprise since Matt learned to sing from Axl Rose's vocal coach. Matt did all of the vocals here. You don't have many songs left with other members doing backing vocals.

I don't know if anyone has recommended it before, but you should add 'So Far Away-Rock Am Ring 2014' to your list. In my opinion, one of their performances that are a must see.

Honestly though, the video isn't worth it. It feels so awkward watching Zacky and Syn sing when hearing Matt's backing vocals. Plus she'd have to deal with the copyright editing. A lyric video would save time.
