As a drummer myself I understand how much talent that this actually takes and Im very happy that one of my favorite content creators has respect for the art
takes more skill than you may think to play avenged, the drumming style is quite unique. Yeah this is nowhere near their hardest song but u gotta still respet its pretty damn good.
RIGHT?? i immediately came here just to look for comments bout that! i saw their video and right away thought about Sean! i’d love to see a vid where he teaches them how to play 😂
I can't believe this only has 4m views, I thought more people would be interested in this talent of his. I also can't believe it's already been two years since he uploaded this
pyb6 The noise only goes through his headphones and into his computer or whatever it is plugged into. So from an outside perspective it would sound like him hitting mesh heads with sticks
Most drummers have a certain face they make when they get really into what they're playing. It usually shows how much they enjoy playing certain songs or licks
@@jaygopinath1694 yea but honestly, the rev beats him in technicality any day of the week, just listen to any song from the avanged sevenfold album and you will see im not saying joey was bad, but almost every metal drummer isnt that good when compared to the rev
@@zensezy468I feel like Joey beats him technicalitywise. A7X is my most favourite band but hearing his drumming just makes me dizzy how hard his parts are. Namely Disasterpiece for example. Either way I know they are rocking out together now. RIP
@@jalucabester6372 if youre lookin for more punch you can do both at the same time. For fast 16th note kicking you alternate and for single its lose but its common then to kick with your right foot like you normally would
@@tristanribeiro7903 Lars Ulrich? no. no way. my favourite double bass drummers are probably Jocke Wallgren (Amon Amarth), Joey Jordison (ex-slipknot), and jay weinberg (slipknot)
@@bladeonblitz9281 i agree. also Matts Gartska and Halpern, Marco Minnerman, Thomas Haake, Flo Mounier, Aaron IKitcher like Preist of Gaming mentioned and Mike Mangini
@@bladeonblitz9281 jay is rather mediocre compared to metal as a whole, as is slipknot. nu metal is just an entryway to actual metal. alex bent of trivium, matt nichols (before bmth went pop), jaska raatikainen of children of bodom to name a few
I think I remember Jack saying that as he's gotten older, it's been more and more difficult to still be able to drum like this. It's unfortunate cause as a metal influenced guitarist myself, I love watching him play as well.
Ian_6 ok well bruh, Joey is one of the best drummers in the world it’s normal Jack isn’t as good. Also did u check out his old band raised to the ground, it’s pretty good sadly they only made one ep, neglect is my favourite song of that ep.
Imagine if avenged sevenfold were touring in Europe and they invited jack on stage to play this song with them, that would literally make my year. I wish there was a way to make it happen.
God I just love how he’s such a mix of focused and enjoying at the same time and how you can see him mouthing the words to the song and getting really into the moment because that’s just the best representation of playing music
Hence why I have been waiting for another one of these!!! I loved watching and listening to him play Chop Suey last time because it was great watching him be so focused but having fun! If you havent watched the last video of him playing, I suggest you do so!
Today I learned Jacksepticeye plays the drums. Never followed him very closely but I've been consuming a lot of drummer content and he showed up. Mad respect!
No the reason why he enjoys this more than he enjoys some games is because it's a hobby of his and he used to be in a band when he was younger so it's fun for him to share his drumming skills
And I thought Jack couldn't get cooler. A7x is literally my favorite band and Jack is one of my fav RU-vidrs. I found this trying to get tabs for Sevenfold songs for when I get my guitar
I found my love of metal through sean the first metal song I ever listened to was his chop suey cover I'm not really into hard stuff just cause I like to sing along
Man, this made me so secondhand happy. Watching Sean showing off something he loves and genuinely enjoying himself. So cool to see. Keep it up Sean! We love ya!
@@sally675 I mean there’s a lot of ones where he randomly sings. A good one I just watched was Metal Gear Solid: Legendary Jacksepticeye 29:39 - 30:04(?)
Would love to see more like this! Clearly loves metal, loves drumming. And we clearly love seeing you enjoy yourself. Post more like this please Sean 😁💚

dude, i use to watch jacksepticeye as a kid and now i'm 16, A7x is one of my favorite bands and i stumbled across this. I'm like actually so happy bro. You rock!
Not gonna lie. when I searched avenged sevenfold drum covers I was not expecting this guy but I'm not disappointed *insert edit about not expecting this many likes here*
Baptised Athiest actually he does quite a bit of drumming when it comes to RU-vid it’s just that he doesn’t post everything he records because he doesn’t want to post only drumming
Seeing girls find jack hot makes me feel uncomfy because I'm a guy and don't think of him like that but then again girls probably get the same feeling when boys do that
JuggerNade the headphones are for the drums cause they’re electronic. Without the headphones it sounds like he’s just hitting random things with the sticks
Alex _Santoro_23 yeah but they actually sound like mesh drums and rubber cymbals instead of random crap, my school has a Roland set which is what jack uses, top of the line, and for the low low price of almost 6 grand
Grace Taylor I recently rewatched Seán playing Monster Prom 2- mostly because I love how Calculestor represents the softer side of his personality- so I’m in total agreement with you. It’s the juxtaposition of loud, bombastic energy and sweet sentimentality that makes him so lovable! 💚🤟😝😌☺️💚
It's very easy to fall into assuming someone's channel's theme is their entire lives. I think it's awesome when they go and show other parts of them, like Jack did/is doing!
FINALLY AFTER SO MANY YEARSSS Edit:what the fuck i was gonna sleep after i watch this cause it's midnight here then my tablet started vibrating saying "someone liked your comment" omg This is the first time having this much likesss :333 Edit2:CAN SOMEONE SAY TO JACK THAT HE NEEDS TO PLAY ALL THE WAY OR HIS OUTRO OR ANY JSE SONGS OUT THEREEEE ;-; ATLEAST ONE OF THEMM
ßrüh not even a year mate, this was one of the first songs i learnt along with some shitty blink 182 songs. Roughly 5 months to completely nail this. What doesn’t help is his drum kit sounds like ass
How did I never know Jack was such a good drummer?! Also as a (sort of former) musician, I loved seeing the "that was the one!" that feeling is amazing when you achieve everything your practice and work was for and know it's good.
Brother with all due respect 408,000 (no those zeroes are not a typo) people have seen this video and I'd call that a huge crowd... plus this is RU-vid so it's likely that number will grow
@@darknight10000 I know, but the look on his face was priceless. (Unless you meant that the confused questioning look is what every drummer does...?) ;P
So apparently lots of people are getting recommend this video for some reason, including me. I have really only watched some of you horror videos (mostly reacting to horror shorts and playing horror games), and I never knew you play drums. As someone who's been playing for about a year and a half, you are really damn good, lol
I’ve known of Sean for years but just recently started binging his content and I had no idea he played drums. I thought this video was gonna be a joke when it was recommended to me. 😂 He’s actually really good and I’m very impressed! Would love more of these videos!
I struggle with coordination and with controlling my fingers when I play piano. All of my piano recordings I've done and posted on here have taken....some... a lot...of tries.
I hope Jack does more drumming videos someday. True talent from a fellow drummer. P.S. I know that hi-hat placement when I see it. Danny Carey is a legend.
I really wish Sean would make more drumming videos. Not only is he really good at it but I love seeing him doing something he truly enjoys. Love watching him play.
