All jokes aside, if you ever hear a baby/child crying inside a dark or abandoned place, DO NOT APPROACH. Call the police and THEY will investigate. Fake sounds and staging are common tactics for luring women into dangerous situations.
I like the idea that Hobo Jo was just Jo until about an hour ago when his wife told him to leave "Babe you can't be serious, it's not over, is it?" *She hovers over him to show him that his name has changed* "NOOO"
Fuck I spit my cereal all over the iPad when I read this. Thanks for a much needed laugh 😂😂😂 I could just see him drop to his knees and hear him scream "NOOOO" when she hovers over him 😂
this whole concept is insanely terrifying. if someone was going around being names the WOMB RIPPER i would never leave the house, even if i wasn’t pregnant
how to not get killed in Sarah's place; -wash your clothes in the sink -if the dryer doesn't work, just bring the wet clothes home, it can just dry by the morning -no way that all your clothes are "stained" type of dirty, so temporary fix is just wear anything and put on deodorant
the whole plot could have been resolved in the first five minutes, I wished they could have added some details like having her water be cutoff so that the ending feels inevitable instead of avoidable
58:55 It's almost like a running gag. Many times when a sound cue preceding a jump scare happens, Jack will immediately look in exactly the wrong direction and miss most or all of the jump scare.
"Whenever someone tells I'm going to die tonight, every building I go into I check for exits" So Jack's been told he's going to die tonight before, like a regular occurence?
This game is a perfect representation of how some people are good, others are troubled, some a disgusting, some are well meaning if a little unpleasant and others are pure evil. I commend any game for its realism
I love it even more because it's Seán. You know he is extremely caring and non-judgmental, and he would never say that to a real person, but he grew up as a BOY in IRELAND and vulgar shit comes out of his mouth on reflex. And half the time he doesn't even realize the irony of what he's saying because he doesn't actually think that way, it's a joke. And he tells us all the time his jokes are garbage and to not take them seriously. The fun and guilt-free joke zone in his community is so cool.
Stan will always be the most top-tier character ever. He worries for people's safety, he has logic, seems like the type of guy to walk a girl home late at night, and he's super funny. You can never replace Stan.
i have three things to say: 1. patron sounds like meowth 2. season 2 of woman simulator looks amazing and 3. pizza guy deserves his own spin off series
Didn’t help me much, I was excited for scared until the end when I was actually getting scared and tried to prepare for the ending with « shooting baby man pt 2 » but it still scared the frick out of me
Bloodwash: "The LAST bus of the night is about to leave soon! I have to be on it so I can go to the laundromat!" Anyone with common sense: "If it's the last bus of the night, how are you getting home?"
this game went from being mildly uncomfortable to insanely disturbing. props to the devs for this one and Jack not getting the reference of 8675309 is hilarious
So it took me a while to notice, but the bloody washing machines? The impressions are clearly that of babies. Samantha wasn't just killing them, in her twisted state of mind, she probably thought putting them in the washing machines afterwards would make them immortal, that the machines would act as a surrogate womb. Her mind was SUPER broken.
Black men are always the good guys in horror games/movies well most of the time. Just like Lee from walking dead or every black guy that dies first in movies
He could read a shopping list and still give the impression of being a warm, caring neighbor. Hope he gets more work. Maybe play the bad guy next time. We'd never see it coming.
I voiced the fella selling toasters at an unreasonable hour! I'm happy you had fun playing the game! Its an honor to hear my voice in a video of yours!
@@xFlareLeonExcept they seem to have a very difficult time differentiating the knife-wielding, woman-brutalising maniacs and the young, innocent, children of colour. In fact, they seem to have a hard time not fitting into the first category themselves
Real fear is being a woman waiting an hour for the last bus alone downtown in the middle of isolated empty lots. That bus scene was super real, complete with the danger inherent in being "rude" to creepy men for risk of negative response.
Right?? The fact that he stopped and looked straight down to figure out what was on the ground nearly made me jump out of my seat. You really can't afford to lollygag in parking lots late at night as a woman.
@@chakra3162 This is true, and in certain contexts important. Although it also isn't true. I was scared when I was waiting for a bus in an alley and a car full of men thought I was for sale, but I was much more afraid when a guy was following me from bus to bus in the middle of the night, talking about guns and his mental illnesses and how dangerous the bus at night was for me. Both valid fear, not the same. Mostly, though, I didn't say anything about fake fear. I wasn't drawing a contrast to different kinds of fear.
Omggg this happened to me years ago coming back home from an anime convention. I waited at a bus stop at night with a couple of people. All I hear is "oh he's got a knife" all of us waiting turned to this guy headed towards the bus stop, he was tweaking with something in hand (I couldn't really see cause it was dark), but I trusted the guys that bolted like a bat out of hell (they literally left me at the bus stop!) and I ran down several blocks until I couldn't see the bus stop anymore.
Here’s some more food for thought: He could have been a former employee, or just there when it happened, and started using to try and cope with the horrific memories, and mental anguish.
Stan is a character we only see for a minute early on, but he's really well written and I like the voice actor. Having that kind of grounding makes the game so much scary later on imo
Almost a year later and I finally realize that the voice of the main character is done by Olivia Steele, who works with an amazing horror podcast that I've been listening to for years, Chilling Tales for Dark Nights! I freakin' love these happy crossover moments!
Here’s a tip: In all video games, if you find a keypad lock or any other kind of number lock, check if it’s 0451 or 451. This code originates from Looking Glass studios. It was the door code for their offices and they put it in their games. It became an inside joke basically. Typically used in immersive sims, but it’s always good to try it as it’s pretty widespread as seen in this game.
As a woman, literally nothing could induce me to go to a 24/7 laundromat alone after dark. Especially not if I had to take a bus. My clothes would be getting washed in the sink or the bathtub or not at all. But I suppose we wouldn't have a game if the protagonist just stayed home.
Introducing the.... PERFECTLY NORMAL DAY WITH A MURDERER ON THE LOOSE IN THE NIGHT AND YOURE GONNA WASH YOUR CLOSE IN THE BATHTUB OR SINK OR NOT AT ALL!
Well as a dude, i wouldnt go laundry mat middle of the night. That's a good way get stabbed and robbed. Especially by looks of it, this took place allready bad neighbourhood. There was literal junkie at apartment lobby. Male or female, that is just asking to be killed or robbed or both.
I love how as soon as Sara got the gun ...all caution was out the window and she was like: Come at me asshole ...like jesus lady you still have an unborn child...
Dude, I’ve got to stop watching these kinds of videos when it’s 2 AM, because I always find myself watching me is at two in the morning just conveniently before I have to go down to my basement to grab some thing
@@taya5304 people should just stop being so sensitive that someone's artistic style of a creation gets them feeling so upset they end up hating a game or movie.. thick skin 100% is better than crying over everything out there someone doesn't like
Seán skipping over the gross dialogue filled me with an inexplicable joy. Guys have said and sent that type of shit to me, it's nice to know one who sees how gross and disturbing those comments actually are. I will admit that they added to the game's atmosphere, I was scared for Sara.
Yeah but he also skipped her sweet comeback. She straight up roasted that bus driver, and as a guy that put a huge smile on my face because I too hate it when people act like that. I always say that an asshole should get what they deserve, and so I loved it when she clapped back.
if this game had modern graphics, it would have been way too much, but the potato graphics really made this game. The writing was pretty good too. It also pretty much nailed what it feels like sometimes when you're a woman, riding the bus at night alone tbh.
Eh, I wouldn't really say the writing was that good tbh. Early in the game we learn that Samantha died in the fire because they literally found her body in a locked room yet somehow she actually survived and became the womb ripper. Louis literally disappeared though. No one knows where he is so it just makes much more sense for Louis to be the womb ripper. It just feels like they made Samantha be the womb ripper to have some sort of crazy twist even though it doesn't make any sense
@@ivanvenne I agree the plot writing wasn't that fantastic and had a lot of room for improvement, but I thought the dialogue was really well written. This is evidenced by the fact that Sean's first instinct on what to say in response to the dialogue presented to him was almost exactly what the main character would say in response; this shows that the dialogue is at least realistic in terms of how the average person would actually respond to what is being said to them. And like a previous person said, the bus scene was uncomfortably realistic in terms of dialogue and situation. I would love to read a play or screenplay written by the writer/s of this game, honestly
I read that as the CAR saying “what’re you doing?” At first and the idea of Jack just sprinting towards a murderous vehicle like “HEY! HEY YOU! WHY DO YOU MURDER PEOPLE?! YOU ARE A CARRRRRRRR!!!!!!” And the care is just like “lol wut?”
31:02 when he read the number instead of singing it and said “Did I need another code for something?” I died a little inside 😂 love your videos Sean! **Edit: Just for clarification in case y’all don’t know, Sean is Irish and lives in the UK so he may have never even heard the song, and probably didn’t even realize it was a phone number because our phone numbers are written differently!**
This game is really good and realistic to how it feels to be a woman doing anything out of the house at night. Everything is 100x creepier and you always have to have an exit strategy and your eye on everything around you.
@@emmawilson5313 I do anytime I am walking anywhere in the dark or at later hours. Probably one of the easiest and most available at any given moment. They can be a weapon if necessary, or they help you get into your home safely and quickly!!! Walking across a Wal-Mart parking lot at 8 o'clock at night is probably one of the scariest things in the world!!!! FOR ANYONE!!!! So kudos to everyone that does it and doesn't absolutely breakdown and freak out!!!!
Ngl this was hands down the scariest of the most recent games he's played for me. I felt in a panic for the whole climax, which doesn't usually happen for these vids
It's such a different experience to see someone who doesn't shout "I'll kill you!" All the time and shoots all the time. (Talking of markimoo of course) Both playthroughs are very enjoyable
A proper gentleman respects women but at the same time he doesn't let them push him around and treat him like a doormat I myself am a proper gentleman I respect woman and their boundaries but I also believe that they should treat men like human beings as well
@@jakajan3187 I'm not saying that all women treat men badly but just like there are some men out there that absolute pieces of shit towards women there are some women who treat men who did nothing to deserve it like they are punching bags I'm all for gender equality but it should be treated as a two way street
How has no one pointed out that Sean said 8675309 at least six times and didn’t know it was a song 😂 am I the only one sitting in bed screaming it to the proper tune?
That crying baby sound sounds like the sound in Resident Evil 8 village when that monster fetus chases you in the doll makers house. Anyone else agree? Edit: also Liam better appreciate his girl a lot more after surviving that.
Bus Driver: I don't know if I believe that, it's a little late to be doing laundry Sara (Is holding a basket of Laundry, is wearing dirty clothes, probably has a bottle of detergent with her): Is that so?
I think it also depends on how much you buy into those oldschool, PS1esque graphics, and what you think of jumpscares and how they're made (personally i despise the "something pops up with a loud-ass noise" scares, they're just basic instinct :P )
This one genuinely got me, fiancé and I were watching this while eating dinner and towards the end I screamed out loud. She did too (or maybe it was because I screamed). Either way this one was a good one Jack
