You know she isn't complaining about having all the women help her. This is working with everybody as a member of the team. If you guys really think about it a lot of the stuff she's using reverse psychology saying she's going to go kill Thanos that got the team wants to join her and Donna says what's going to stop what happened to them the second time around I said what she said to give them the courage to go after Thanos. But again you guys hate the actress for what telling a white guy who is complaining about a kids movie that's already been made which is pretty much laughable. That she's not interested but he has to complain about a movie answers right the movie wasn't made for him because it's a kids movie. this movie is fantasy fiction is not real. Not supposed to make sense
I mean, its not like she needed or even used their help. If Marvels just wanted a feminist shot, they cud have created some other more relevant situation for that. As deadpool says "It's just lazy writing"...
@@cyberIndia212 Ok but by that logic, Wong could trap everyone on Thanos’ side in the mirror dimension. If you’re willing to overlook dumb stuff all throughout the climax but only nitpick for the all women scene, that might mean you’re slightly sexist.
Straight up. If she was going to go light speed instantaneously like that, she'd probably create a black hole and kill everyone... Then again it's fiction.
I wish we could have seen Carol have some sort of a reaction to meeting Steve Rogers. As part of the armed forces, she would have known about Captain America for sure.
Jibin Joseph Captain Marvel is not exactly “self-centered” though. She’s just cocky when it comes to getting shit done. Aside from that, she does seem to care about everyone else, I mean it’s why she went away from Earth helping other people from other planets (including the Skrulls), who unfortunately didn’t have superheroes like the Avengers to defend them, all those years.
@@michaeloquendo11 Just a shame a lot of her exploits weren't evident in the past mcu movies. The peace between the Kree and Xandar could've been thanks to her. And perhaps she could've been mentioned somewhere in Thor: Ragnarok. And yes, even a cameo of her defending a world about to be consumed by Ego would've been nice.
@@shreya3531 Hey, I just had a question: If you have seen Avengers Endgame, that in the first scene of Avengers Endgame, where Captain Marvel is with Avengers discussing finding Thanos so if you observed her whole outfit, do you think Captain Marvel's pants that resemble her superhero costume in that scene of Avengers Endgame is part of her superhero suit?
That's not it... It was a trap. Carol got pissed & lost her focus on grabbing the gauntlet...which gave Thanos an opportunity to grab the power stone. What can you do, he's cunning.
Why is Captain Marvel overpowered ??? Thats why she overpowered Thanos, but SUFFIENT ENERGY she will get thrown like a basketball.
104 Gaming thank you! I’ve said the same on other videos. The Brie Haters ignore one of CMs base powers: energy absorption. With her in Wakanda or on Titan and the Avengers might have stopped him.
You know her attitude makes sense considering she’s been doing it for actual decades at that point, she’s so used to working on her own and being in charge it must be difficult to be a team player. She recognises strength and ability, and is a powerhouse. She’s also fiercely independent and capable. She doesn’t have “feminine” ways of speaking or a people pleaser. She gets the job fucking done.
@@123456789103303 It isn’t just from this clip, though. You gotta think about it in terms of time. Captain Marvel works on an intergalactic scale, she’s been doing it since the 90’s, even before she remembered who she was. If she’d been working on her own from there, that’s nearly twenty years of working independently! She’s very used to working on her own, for such a long time. She’s very abrasive probably because she’s not used to working with people on the same playing field as her. And to be honest, I don’t think she’d choose to be in that role of Avengers Leader. She’ll probably continue to stay out and about, working world to world trying to help. And I think it’d be better for her development anyway. And to be honest? I think it was mostly the marketing of her movie that made people not like her as much. I think she was plenty emotional, but not in the normal way that is present in most female characters. It’s actually quite interesting! If you’d like, I would love to go into more detail about it, but only if you’re interested.
@@ironiclightbulb I agree, I saw emotions in her stand alone movie, it's just not the 'ill win with love and compassion' kind of emotions that we see in superheroes who are women. It was conflict, and confusion, which is perfect considering the story. But my problem is that it was way too subtle, and I didn't notice it until the second watch. The next movie hopefully have an improvement in direction. Those for the first one were new and didn't seem to have much experience.
@@harshasewlani5312 I think honestly it’s the subtlety that gives it the much needed direction it had, to be honest. Carol Danvers was constantly told to bury her emotions, constantly told they were a weakness and they would only hinder her. She’s got a very dry sense of humour and although reckless, still has a stable head on her shoulders. As someone who has dealt with something like that, it may be hard to pick up on, but it made it very easy for myself to connect with her in her movie. (in my humble experience)
3:31 and 3:35 are the only two times I can recall Thanos actually having a scared expression on his face. He's never really dealt with a rival on his power level. He has to think fast and yoink the power stone to get an edge, but he's never been *scared* before. Great scene, especially how much confidence he put into that headbutt only to have it prove literally useless.
and that was the ''old'' thanos, confident thanos, not the fight with strange thanos. just amazing to see him shit his pants lol. (meaning, the ''past thanos'' got cocky after learning that he managed to snap his fingers, and when he faced carol and wanda he saw that it wouldn't be as easy as he thought. the '' new thanos '', the one who had already faced the avengers, went through situations, lost gamora, etc., even facing all the avengers, faced practically everyone, and the only one who gave him the most trouble was doctor strange, but none of them was a match for him)
Anybody else not understand the “she’s got help scene”, like apparently all these chicks with guns and shit are gonna help the woman who just flew through a fricken spaceship.
Yeah it just really didn’t make any sense. They felt like they needed a female empowerment scene like in the last big movie but it didn’t really fit here.
It was a reference towards the a-force, all female superhero team. I can get how people would get confused though if they didn't know about the team. They could've mentioned it in the film.
i’m pretty sure it’s a reference to the comics, not meant to be taken seriously but they have scarlet witch who is insanely powerful and they have valkyrie and her bright white ass pegasus
With 6 infinity stones? Thanos did not use any of them (only the power stone, for a punch). Watch IW fight on Titan, or after, Thanos' arrival to Wakanda. THAT is when he uses them, and wipes everyone like his ass. Only Dr Strange can hold him back for a while, and Wanda can stop him for like 5 seconds. He punched this hoe easily with 1 stone. I wonder, how many ways he could kill her, if he uses every stone.
They need to bring in more grappling into superhero combat. All fights end on the ground. It also lessens the area of damage once the opponent is brought down.
@@B.B.Digital_Forest There was some in Captain America: The Winter Soldier as well as Black Panther. I'm sure that there will be some in the Black Widow solo-movie and the 2021 Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings movie, too. But I agree, there should be much more grappling in Super Hero films.
@@B.B.Digital_Forest absolutely, and since these beings are incredibly strong and able to withstand forces many times larger than what their body weighs, punching them would not really damage them. Ugh the line "there are a lot of other planets in the universe and unfortunately they didn't have you guys" is so great. It makes you kind of realize the magnitude of what she has to put up with in keeping the universe, not planet, safe.
Bro what? The result of Thanos’ mission would’ve resulted in 50% of all life in the universe being destroyed. I feel like that should’ve been way more of a priority than rescuing a bunch of other random planets off-screen.
ugh what??? That's an awful exposition. First off, the marvel universe is supposed to be made up of all the movies before this one. So what she did WOULDNT count. If you do, it just downplays the avengers and the other heroes for their heroism. Second off, if we go by that line anyway, then the whole blip is her fault. She had an opportunity to prevent the universe from being halved and chose to save some planets.
@@thelastunicorn99bruh: 1. She is from space and an alien species, why the hell would this discredit the Avengers? They can't handle intergalactic threats, they barely got Thanos a 2nd time. 2. Must’ve been weird for Larson to film these scenes first then do her solo movie. She was placed right into the deep end and mixing with these well casted actors she really did stand well with them. Her performance was limited but it was good that she may be one powerful character but she provided powerful assistance. Loved the headbutt Thanos gave her and she didn’t flinch. That was just perfect.
no really almost all of the actors did not like her at all watch the interviews she acted like she paved the way for her co stars when it was actually the other way around i no longer like her and i hope they put someone that is a better actress and actually has an ass
@@gokuvegeta7770 Well, the actress is not to blame for being given such a powerful character who, by the way, had to be nerfed for the convenience of the plot
Impressive that her expression was cold and emotionless as Thor approached her and remained so even as his axe whizzed right by her arm and head finally smirking when Thor said his admiration for her. It's something about women who can maintain cold and emotionless expressions for long periods of time that I find attractive.
Hey, I just had a question that in this scene of Avengers Endgame where Captain Marvel is with Avengers discussing about finding Thanos. So if you observed her whole outfit do you think Captain Marvel is wearing her same pants of her superhero costume?
I honestly think she's so cool. Yeah, she can be cocky, but that's not necessarily a bad thing for her. She just knows her power. I mean, after all, In her origin story, the Kree kept saying that she couldn't control it and that she didn't know her own power.
ikr?! and to be fair lots of avengers are cocky in some ways too. Thor has been cocky since his first movie, and don't even make me mention Tony. And we don't complain cuz it just adds a character to them and it really shows us how powerful they were!!
0:24. Oh... this part is always heartbreaking. And probably because she was so eager to go after Thanos on her own. Carol spent years of her life outside Earth, trying to help people outer space, and when she comes back, finds out that not only half of the life in the universe was destroyed, but also one of her few friends was killed during it. Poor Carol 😓😥.
I'm not a fan of the character, and have found Brie herself to be rather insufferable, but I'm not going to ignore Beauty when I see it... She does look nice with longer hair, but, she Is a beautiful woman. She has Awesome bone-structure in her cheeks and jaw, and the shorter hair simply highlights and accentuates that, and personally, I think she looks even more beautiful with short hair, because there's then nothing hiding her face... 2:42 when she smiles at Peter...
Brie as Capt Marvel is like melting ice... cold at first but eventually warms up. She brings something interesting and objectionable in the MCU. I want to see her build chemistry with the other Avengers.
She did build chemistry her and rodey and making whoopi, doing the horizontal mamba, bumping uglies, putting his man parts in her female parts, in Bill Clinton's voice "having sexual relations", doing what your parents did in order to have you lol
ghiberti wasn’t captain marvel named “ Ms. Marvel”? I remember in Marvel Ultimate Alliance her name was Ms. Marvel, but now the “Ms. Marvel” is a Muslim super hero.
@@loveygerse7402 yes she was. In thw comics, Cap told her to take the Mantle of Captain, and so she did. And Kamala( current Ms Marvel) was a huge fangirl of Captain Marvel so CM told her to take the Ms. Marvel title.
Brie actually bring the character to life. Her self confidence, her sassy older sister personality is really on point because thats how Carol Danvers is in the comics. So good job Brie👏👏
In the new comics that nobody likes. In the OG comics Captain Marvel/Ms Marvel spent most of her time in a coma. Hopefully Rogue gets introduced to put this un likeable character into a coma and have her Sassy southern but ladylike attitude replace Captain Marvel’s boring personality.
Ophelia Valentine you cant blame Brie Larson, she literally had no idea how she was supposed to act during her movie or Endgame. Give her a break. I personally think she’s showing that she has some more potential.
BlindEagle Ace Lol. Even people that don’t care about the MCU admit that Captain Marvel feels so forced and out of place. It’s not just me and “the haters”. Joanna Ceddia even mentioned she feels her character was forced and irrelevant to the plot

They were filming the Captain Marvel movie at the same time. So it was more production and timing. Since it was needed to finish the solo movie first to make the timeline work. She could only really be in the movie between shooting the other one. I am sure she'll be in the upcoming movies a lot more. Since she signed a 7 movie contract.
I’m kinda not surprised. This was technically Captain Marvel’s first appearance in the MCU. Endgame was shot before Captain Marvel. Because you gotta remember that they shot Infinity War and Endgame back-to-back. So her character wasn’t really fleshed out yet.
Idc what no one says, she comes in CLUTCH more than once but the scene when the ship literally stops targeting everyone to face a single person cause she’s that powerful Is so exciting. I honestly forgot all about her throughout the movie but that made it more exciting when she finally pulled up.
the big mistake about thanos snap /blip is the People didnt die, they just dissapeared into dust as non existent beings, dying makes a leftover, vanishing from reality is awhat the snap actually did, half of the whole Universe did not die, they just stopped to exist

I love the scene when she’s coming out of the sky with the ship saving Tony and Nebula and as she drops it she does that look back....reminds me of T’challas first appearance in Civil War when he looks back seeing Black widow...just the look of concern...also Carols first time back to earth in years....that scene was quick but it hit different knowing all the movies the nostalgia 🖖🏽
Yea but it was quick info and back out...because Rocket had a tracker on the ship...it wasn’t until she came back with Tony and nebula seeing what’s going on was when everything started to sink in...(why I mention her look back) she didn’t even know fury was dead until she came back with Tony meanwhile it was the first thing she asked...she stood for some time until they killed Thanos in the beginning of Endgame...I considered that her official first time back on earth...not a stop by 😂
M V it wasn’t Carols first time on earth for years cause she stayed in earth and visited Maria after Captain Marvel which was set before this. No hate by the way, just correcting you
M V just because she looked sad when she saw fury on the screen does not mean it was her finding out. Being reminded could easily have the same effect.

also endgame was made before captain marvel solo movie ,Brie larson had to read comic books about the character because she did not know how to portray her, there was no script or some story about her solo movie .
@Meme Guy The energy her haters waste is so funny when her movie was so successful, the sequel has been dated, and we know she ain't going anywhere. Hope they have fun being mad watching her as a main character in the next Avengers movie. XD

Aw same! Normally in the U.K. then audiences are a lot more reserved and it’s rare for something like that to happen but I had the joy of seeing it with a group of girls who were probably about 10 and seeing and hearing them react was so, so lovely and their excitement was so contagious. People will always whinge about strong women but seeing her impact on her young female fans is just wonderful.

I just love how all the women stopped battle at the same time to eavesdrop on Captain Marvel's conversation with Spider-Man and to give her help she clearly didn't need.
