It's sad Shnepp couldn't see the finale of the old MCU.

Keeping it vague as possible, I do agree that the middle part of the film is a little messy and slow but overall this is a fantastic love letter to the fans and the mcu! It’s so rare that something that goes on for such a long time ends satisfyingly and everyone who took part should be commended! Amazing and I’m so glad I was part of the journey over the 11 years of these films

I have seen it as it’s out in my country, no spoilers but I loved it. Such a satisfying conclusion and I was shivering and crying when I came out of the cinema. Definitely my favourite mcu movie of all time and didn’t feel like 3 hrs at all.

Thor was for me the highlight in this movie, his story arc and his performance was amazing in this movie, and since Ragnarok he became everybody's favourite.

Being shook is a good example or way to put it. I felt like I got the wind knocked out of me from pure awesomeness.

Man....I can't wait!!!! That final hour sounds amazing...

I remember watching this 2 years ago aching to watch it myself and when I finally got to see it on release day it blew my head off and went back and watched it another 2 times. What a film.

Just got out of the cinema with friends. Endgame was awesome! People will love it, we did and it was also my best/favorite movie going experience.

I felt the same way during the last hour, it was like somebody cranked the emotional voltage up to 3000 I was almost teary eyed with happiness, the last part of this movie does have a feel good factor.

Saw it last night and it’s a great end to the phase as RMB said 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 “it’s an experience”

I have seen the movie and I can say what really surprised me (no spoilers here) is how even though the movie is so HUGE, it never forgets its roots and has so many good emotional character moments. The acting was very strong in this movie, and numerous characters are the best we have ever seen them. I have little nitpicky problems with the movie but honestly this thing was just WOW

It all comes down to this, I’m watching Infinity War again tonight and tomorrow I’m seeing Endgame, I’m so excited I think I’m gonna explode

I really appreciated the first two hours. Great character work and establishing the necessary stuff for act three. When Infinity War gave you that big gut punch and dusted everyone, you had a moment of shock, but then you figured, Hey, it's a comic book movie and stakes are never permanent, and they have already announced new movies, so yeah it was a momentary shock, but no big. They'll fix it all and do some time travel whim wham or beat up Thanos and take the glove back, no big whup. There are no stakes. The first section of Endgame convinces you there are no easy answers. It commits to making you FEEL the loss is real from Infinity War. The first image leads to a gut punch. The first action scene assures you there is no reset button. Even if they Avenge and beat the bad guy, some things can't be taken back. And that is what this movie gives you over and over again. Truly felt stakes. Things get PERMANENTLY changed. Even if they do some quantum dimension hopping time travel mumbo jumbo, there are rules and consequences and things can't be turned around completely. The humor is mostly gallows humor or jokes about adjusting to a new status quo. In the second act you get more adventure, more hope, more humor, more familiarity with what an MCU movie is. Even then there are losses and surprises truly felt. The first two acts have callbacks to all the movies, providing a lot of character work. The third act is just FULL. it is eye-popping, rousing, devastating, and has tons of fan service (girl power!). It, I don't think, can ever be equalled in scale. A lot of folks only get a bit of development, but there is so much satisfying spectacle, it doesn't really matter. And then it is over and you are physically and emotionally wrought. And lots of things are forever changed moving forward. I loved it, but it is SO MUCH I haven't processed to figure out where it lays in the MCU or Avengers ranking. Some notes, there are no mid or post credits scenes at all. There is an auditory Easter egg at the end when the Marvel logo shows, and I'm not sure what it means, if anything. It might just be an easter egg. There is nothing about the X Men, Fantastic Four, or Deadpool. As for bathroom breaks, don't go if you don't have to. Don't go at all the last hour. If you have to, there are spots in the first two acts that you won't really miss much on.

I think I liked it but didn’t love it. But I’ll watch it again tomorrow to validate my opinion. Infinity War is the better movie.

I'll know after watching Endgame if I'd say it "shook" me the way "Call Me By Your Name" did when I saw it. And as a DC and X-Men fan coming to see Endgame, I hope I get the full satisfaction that many people have talked about.

I keep telling everybody * - SLIGHT SPOILER ALERT - * I NEED a poster of that shot in the last act of Cap staring down Thanos and his entire army right before everybody else shows up. It was a shot of pure cinematic beauty with so much dept and glory in that one shot. Truly astonishing.

5:35 I know it's obvious and this film is great but the central hour of TDK (and tbh you put a time stamp anywhere and it works) with Joker's escape and Rachel's death probably still holds that distinction.

I can't freaknin wait to see this with a soldout crowd tomorrow, I'm bringing my Infinity Gauntlet lol.

Just saw it, this movie is incredible, really jaw droopingly-mind blowing awesome. I cried like 3 times at least. There's only one thing about the movie I didn't particularly enjoy, maybe with further viewings it'll change my mind. But I'll give it a solid and excellent 98/100. GO WATCH THIS MULTIPLE TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Havent seen it yet, but was thinking that the Spiderman:Homecoming slot would have been better suited for a new character. We know Peter was returning, but a movie with a new character not in Endgame could have been less spoilery.

I have already had the movie slightly spoiled!! Two spoilers from Act 3 but not anything that will damper my anticipation!!!!

Only questions were raised after watching the movie. 1) what happened to 2014 Gamora? 2) what happened to 2012 Loki? 3) why doesn't Natasha comes back after Mindstone was returned by Captain America in 2013 timeline? 4) what will happen to avengers 1 ending & thor 2 timeline & subsequent follow-ups, when 2012 Loki runaway with Space stone?

I just felt that Thanos not knowing the interaction with Tony made their itneraction hallow here, watching a video is a good way out of that but not effective as not same Thanos

This movie is what Justice League should have been for a team movie....I mean DC had the jump on the Marvel universe. Now....this movie has set the bar so high for fantasy/action movies. I mean I thought Alien and Terminator 2 where the SH#@...but this end battle was so rewarding for me. I mean, after fantasizing the 2 dimensional comic book venue and seeing the visuals for this movie... was just mind blowing.....thanks to the Russo brothers' and for the All Fathers...Lee,Kirby and Ditko...Bravo guys.....!!!

The first two hours is not mediocre as mentioned by john. This is a perfect film for me. I never felt that the film was 3 hours long. It left me wanting for more.

I'm seeing it tonight and saturday and honestly i'm not excited. The word is my favorite character is gonna die and i'm upset about that

Superb comic book superhero movie. Watch it as a comic book. The next issue is just a part of the whole story. The 1st 2 hours is just a part of the whole story.

SPOILER ..... I loved how "perfectly balanced" the ending was for both Tony & Steve. Steve get's to live out his full life again with Peggy and Tony's life is cut short, it was the perfect ying / yang for these two characters. As all things should be.

I love John, but feel he’s inconsistent sometimes. He loved the character building in GoT. He didn’t complain with the 1st 2 episodes of season 8 and yet he had a problem with First 2 hours of EndGame. I felt the two things went on the same beat!

Have to stop when he mentions the impact of the first Avengers. That's fine but people REALLY forgot what it was like seeing The Dark Knight for the *first time* Opening scene blew everyone's mind
