I agree. We'll the only one that did get well taken care of is Monster Plantation (Now Monster Mansion) To this day you can still go to Six Flags over Georgia and ride Monster Mansion!
Definitely Monster Plantation was my favorite because of all those animatronics in there old form. Mrs Scarlet looked very very very different so did the Tennis guy. The only animatronics I didn’t see were most of the marsh animatronics, The chili cook off monster and the 2 monsters at the Pie-Stand.
Well the reason why they look a little different than they do today was because when they were updating the ride into The Monster Mansion they repainted the animatronics and gave them new masks.
but 2 of the shows, Tex Critter's and the Circus Playhouse band, are being restored by user CavitySam and will, hopefully in a few years, be back in full swing!
A random AVG bot came up on eBay out of nowhere a few months ago and sold just a little bit after being listed. No idea who it was but I wish I could have screenshot it or something to investigate
The circus playhouse band is still one of my favorite animatronic bands (other than Rockafire Explosion being my first favorite and literally any Chuck E. Cheese animatronic being my second)
Only the Monster Plantation ride at Six Flags Over Georgia and Bullwinkle’s (the animatronics have been removed from Bullwinkle’s though). The Monster Plantation ride has been renamed Monster Mansion but the ride is still open with it’s original AVG animatronics. The ride was actually just refurbished.
I'm sorry were you comparing apples to oranges? Large-scale ~$10,000 animatronic performers and small ~$60 animatronic toys aren't even in the same league.
