I agree with you, I’m 48 but since I hear his voice for few seconds in “The Black List” playing on Netflix, I said to myself I got to search for him and find out who was the man behind that amazing, beautiful, strong and deep voice. I’m hooked by his music now!!!

Heard this in the last scene of S1E9 of "Fire Country"! Recognized the unmistakable voice immediately and once I'd heard a couple lines, I knew who and what it was. SO glad your solo efforts are getting more exposure, Avi!!

I was sad when he left his group, but I’m happy for his decision after listening to his solo songs. He deserves more than he had and he even shines more as a solo. He sings with his soul, he’s not just a bass part now though he also shined a lot as a bass guy in the group.

Oh, t Yuka, I absolutely AGREE!!! He HAD to move on. His spirit and soul wouldn't allow anything else because all this was bursting at the seams to emerge! (Although more time with family and friends may have actually been the initial reason, as stated...But then this happened!)

I actually wrote in and asked if he'd be willing to cover "Time in a Bottle"...But now after contemplating the universal connections in all of his songs, I'm not sure anymore that I would want him to sing love songs. That kind of makes it about two people in their own little world, whereas at present, his songs are for all of humanity! All of us in this world together and in need of connection. I think this is so beautiful and so spiritual.

I don't think any of them, Avi included, have any interest in doing that. However Avi and Kevin are still tight, and have such a strong respect for one another as musicians that I can see them working together at some point. They did such a beautiful job together on Fields and Pier and Avi hugely admires Kevin's cello work. Kevin follows Avi and cheers him on. I could see those two collab'ing but not the rest.

Thank You, Avi for great song and perfomance. I have been throught darkest chained periods 2-3 times. Have been totally disabled last time in my own soul of prison. I got right treatment, after one disaster with medication driven neuroleptic serotonin syndrome. I dont make big plans , but make short time plans for fulfilling my life with new joy. Try to go through life while laughing , every bad thing or occasion always gives also something good, to say in hindsight.🦋

My father had a great gift of whistling. He even inserted a beautiful vibrato and sounded like a violin. I so enjoy Avi's whistling as well and find it to be a dying art in need of resurrection. I thank him for whistling and bringing back memories of my dear beloved father, departed from this world 11/13/2019.
