Thank you VERY much! Your comment is really appreciated and its for people like you that we do this... regardless wether you ever buy a video from us or not... We love what we do and we appreciate those who appreciate us. On a personal note I've watched thousands of videos on You Tube... liked a lot of them... and never ever disliked anything... if I didn't like a video I just moved on but clicking dislike is actually rude if you ask me... shows a lot about who those people are ;)
This reminded me of the all mighty F-100 fleet Mexicana used to fly a few years ago. Love the cockpit of the F-100. I once was told these planes are really smooth and easy to fly, honestly I'd have liked to fly one or at least in one as a passenger. Greetings!!
Its on the Blu-ray... you can order it on our website... Thumbs down to those who expect us to post everything for free on here and don't appreciate the 40 hours a month we spend posting hours of free video on here!
I have so much respect for you as pilots, my question is "Do you ever get nervous in bad weather, landing or taking off, or is it just normal to you?" I have been on some very abnormal, scary flights but landed safely and it made me actually more comfortable in flying knowing that the plane handles a lot, I think now I would rather fly than drive. Love you guys, keep up the great work, Your fan always, Michele.
Dear JustPlanes: I follow a few great RU-vid channels, including this one, Speedbird, ZenosWarBirds and some others. I really enjoy your work and the work of the other guys too. It's so easy to say "thumbs down" if you're sitting there enjoying the work of others, and not contributing anything except some foolish, negative comments. Thank you so much for all the work you do for the aviation fans out there.
The people who give this video thumbs down are no customer of ours (which is totally fine off course) however they do not appreciate the huge efforts we make to bring them free videos every single day, they probably don't realize how much work is required to do so... and thats not cool at all... keep giving thumbs down and we will go back to posting 1 video a month... won't affect us as our customers will continue to buy our programs... will just save us a lot of time ;)
It is an Avianca flight, and the "special op" is presumably landing a Fokker 100 on a paved driveway. Therefore, title is accurate. You might say it is not specific enough, but that can be said of any title if one is sufficiently determined. At some point one must stop and upload the damn thing. It's a title, not a description. Finally, consider that many videos are promotional in nature. I find that this is typically a sign of good quality and production value. I will not complain about that.
Sometimes we do, other times we don't... I'm sure you realize that producing these programs is very expensive and the idea is that people buy our Blu-rays/DVDs... if you're just looking to enjoy our free videos on You Tube then you shouldn't complain if some parts are missing ;)
I agree! I "Like" almost all videos I view in recognition of value received and the effort needed to make them, but because only a few percent of viewers do so, the Like statistic is useless. Ironically, "Dislikes" are more reliable. Those who Dislike will do so consistently for any reason, sane or insane, relevant or not (e.g. someone's accent, clothing, or the presence of advertising). To me, the only reason to Dislike is a deliberately misleading title. Thanks Justplanes. You're the best.
You guys are right again: You offer some content free and you make your living selling the rest. If some are not happy with that it's just toooo bad. The greedy with always be with us. Duke Masters
Hello there... Avianca Colombia was invited many times... They're not interested... sadly aviation in Colombia doesn't seem as big as it is in Brazil... too bad!
Wouldn't you want to sell videos if you had a company.. or would you post all your videos on You Tube for free? Besides that no company out there gives you daily free videos like we do... Thousands appreciate the effort we put into that every day (or we would have close to 200,000 subscribers) but a few don't and thats fine, those people aren't customers anyway so it doesn't really matter ;)
***** So bad for Avianca Col.... not matter there are another important options as LAN Airlines, LAS Cargo, Aerosucre, Searca, Satena, VivaColombia, Sarpa, Easyfly, etc, but sometimes Aeronautica Civil de Colombia is the f**ing obstacle, we´ll hope someday have a Colombian Airline in Justplanes.
I used to land in Camp Bastion in Afghanistan with ISAF on a B737-400 before they had the long rwy, i used to land on the taxiway 25meter width and 4700 feet long, go figure. And the App was an SRA
If you named the video "DVD-Preview: Avianca Fokker 100", the I would appreciate your complaint. Remember, not everyone knows what Just Planes is! Be honest with the titles. Thanks for listening, Regards, A Real Customer
Im afraid not. TAM is the only major airline in Brazil that does not work with us but luckily most others have worked with us over the years so we've had many great programs with Brazilian airlines...
