From my experience, unless you're in the pattern they want you to follow a modified straight in, following the wash to reduce unnecessary noise to surrounding residents.
@@killerbloc I flew there for the first time a couple weeks ago. I was coming from the SE (Orange County airport). I told the tower I was going to overfly the airfield to the west and then teardrop 45 into the right downwind for 19. He said “approved as requested.”
Hey thanks for posting the video. The subtitles were super helpful. I’m moving to back to Glendora and the busy SoCal airspace will for sure be an interesting experience to fly in.
If I ever owned a Cirrus Vision Jet, that could be a very interesting airport to land at if possible, even an east approach. It seems like it's possible but it seems like it could be a bit tricky lol
