I was on a flight into Ireland through heavy clouds and fog, when the pilot came on and said "sorry folks we're gonna have to try again... we experienced a temporary downforce that exceeded the design characteristics of the plane." I looked around. No one else was concerned. They didn't seem to understand bro was saying a microburst almost fucking killed all of us. My wife did not approve of me clarifying that for the people seated next to us or her 😂
@@killerbloc thanks for the reply, just had mine come in and there is some swirling and little scratches on the gloss chin piece out of the box just trying to see if it’s normal
Came across your channel. I flew med evac in that whole area out there....Ship Rock, Keyenta, Tuba City out of Flagstaff and Winslow. Never heard of HITE. Interesting place and runway. Well done.
@@killerbloc haha. Yea it was some of the most challenging flying I did. Especially at night. Northern AZ is pitch black. At Tuba City when you clicked on the runway lights all you could see were two rows in a sea of black. You had to know the terrain intimately. There were no IFR approaches. We made up our own ! haha. At the same time it was very rewarding helping sick or injured people get to the treatment they needed. I like your procedures.....making sure of your calculations, having a plan to abort the landing if conditions warrant, taking the time to back the plane up to max out roll distance. Are you a private pilot? I've always liked the Gruman aircraft with the cool slide back canopy. I got to ride once in the little one......the AA1 I want to say? Am I correct there?
After one year... 🏁 It's beautiful looking 🚩 It's loud as hell. It's not waterproof. The glue runs in desert heat over 100 degrees. The visor flexes when you turn your head. On my road king, there's a vacuum effect that pulls the helmet up, making it want to come off my head at highway speed.
Never an issue. When I have called in the past, they just gave a pilot brief and gave a sales pitch for their cabins and camp spots. I've also landed there without calling with no issue as well.
Okay so I’m a girl 4’8” and I’d like to be in the front but I’ll be alone so what would you recommend I do if I would like a drink or use the restroom 😢
Just hang back and watch from the elevated section that runs along the peripheral. Or hang out below that in the very back where the number of people gets thin. Have fun!
It has all the correct testing and ratings, making the Kirkland full Synthetic oil among the best oils over the road oils available. That's what makes this fantastic, & it's half the price of Mobil1.j
Just because it makes ratings doesn't mean it's a good long term oil. If you use this stuff, replace your oil every 3k and don't use this stuff if you have a turbo. While there is margin markup for better brands, they do use better chemicals to maintain the oil life over the long term. And some cheaper additives will wear your engine quicker, especially if you have a turbo or DI. Penzoil platinum is the best there is right now.
That's the visor detachment connection. Remove that to remove the visor. Revzilla usually has sales but it is selling for around $720(usd) right now 2024.
The Super Tech version at Walmart comes in a high mileage synthetic formula. That version has a bit more anti-wear additives along with a little extra ester for the seals.
