@bestjonbon Thank you so much for putting together this collection of art. I really enjoyed it and, even if some of the music may not be technically accurate, that is missing the point altogether. What is wrong with giving tribute to those warriors who gave it all to preserve their country and culture? That's what our guys did afterall.

Sealing-Rubber did add some weight , but the Major problem , was the cost. So it was from 1941 , which Japan added that on some Fighters. Optional Armor was usable , but never used widely before war. Early Japanese Bombers did , often have the Rubber-Sealings from the mid 1930's.

Japan has some excellent aircraft...esp. the Nakajima "Frank"..and the Kawanishi "George". They couldn't match our (US) production due to lack of materials/bombings......,biggest weakness of Japanese design was they almost always used radial engines (with a few exceptions..and those proved troublesome...i.e. the "Tony". Also...lack of a four engine bomber in quantity. But the designes...esp. the canard types were advanced.

shinden ”震電”in this video？・・・・nothing・・・It is a shame. The Kyūshū J7W1 Shinden (震電, "Magnificent Lightning") fighter was a World War II Japanese propeller-driven aircraft prototype that was built in a canard design. Shinden is so beautiful!

@dj17q The Germans actually supplied Japan a few 109s and 110's for evaluation purposes, as to their use in combat, I do not believed that happened at all.

These look very nice, I often wondered if the planes that were made before the classic Zero, were made with the armour of the times and the sealing fuel tanks too. If I remember right, the Zero was built without armour and sealing fuel tanks so that it could out fly our planes of the time ?

The background music is not Japanese one. Don't mess up Japan and China. That's a massive insult for Japanese ppl. Japan is very probably the only one nation state whose history can be directly traced back into the myth. Which is demonstrated by the presence of Emperor of Japan. Japan is totally different from China which used be divided into small pieces by nomadic tribes. "Great Chiana" is mere an illusion. This sense of fanatic pride has made chinese ppl very arrogant, rude and not respectful wherever they go. Japan and China is totally different. We never massacre the citizens. Behind the chinese gov's words, there's always the fear that the citizens will blame the government and the foreign countries will find out what chinese government had done right after world war 2. They are just trying to evade their eyes. Actually, even during japanese "invasion", the China Nation-People Party(currently Taiwan's gov) and and commies were killing each other. After the victory of the chinese commies they invaded East Turkmenistan and now it disappeared from the map. They are just framing up Japan. In Japan, where Bushido was born, telling lies is considered as a terribly shameful manner. We say silence is gold, because arguing with liars is pointless and it makes us look really ugly. Japan is totally different from China. Remember that.
