There is a mistake in this video. On a few picks, I-16 is confused with La-5. These two are completely different fighters, La-5 is NOT an evolved I-16, but an evolved LaGG-3, where its in-line water-cooled engine M-105 was replaced with the radial air cooled ASh-82.
@Dominick629 Ok, well I have another source, one is the memoires of A.A. Gromyko, who was ambassador to the US at that time, he wrote that until 1943 the USSR didnt receive sufficent help, the second source is book by Geoffrey Roberts - The Stalin's war, where he wrote that the overall help of lend and lease provided only 10% of the soviet need.
