In this quick surprise installment of Aviation News we will discuss the recent collision and resulting accident of the Harbour Air Canada Sea Plane that occurred on June The plane in question (C-FFHA) 🇨🇦 was a 75 year old De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver equipped with pontoons and designated as a "Sea Plane" or Floatplane. this is an interesting accident due to the circumstances and we will discuss what is known so far and what could've likely happened to contribute to this accident* Thankfully this accident only left passengers on the plane and the boat with minor injuries and no fatalities occurred! The only "fatality" was to this beautiful airplane, which will never fly again.* This could've ended much worse but thankfully & miraculously due to the quick thinking of the pilot and the people aboard the boat, everyone survived!
The official cause of this accident is still unknown and under investigation by the relevant aviation authorities and I don't wanna make any speculations as to the cause of the accident but when the cause of the accident is revealed, I will leave a pinned comment to the investigation report below ⬇️
