This session examines the concepts of signal flow and I/O patching and monitoring with the MTRX and MTRX Studio products. Understanding and managing the PRO | MON monitoring environment in DADman, whether for stereo or Dolby Atmos workflows, is a critical part of working with the MTRX devices. Some creative and unconventional uses for Fold Downs, Talkback, and Monitor paths are also explored.
Coffee & Consoles is a monthly session focusing on Avid S4 and S6 systems, workflows, best practices and general tips and tricks, as well as product solutions such as MTRX and MTRX Studio, IP Audio, and Dolby Atmos. The “Coffee” part of C&C originates from the in-person sessions we started at the Avid office in Burbank-an open invitation to stop by and drink delicious single origins while exploring the depths of S4 and S6.

Can i hook up a radar convertor box to a mtrx studio via dante and use the onboard convertors at the same time?

You either have a box that has dante and hook it up to the network or connect a unit with for example ADAT on the MTRX and then route it via the MTRX’s dante, yes
