Avocado Egg Salad 

OK Colt, I made salmon burgers and avocado/egg salad as a side dish for supper tonight. I used three eggs and three very ripe avocados and I didn't have any dill. I was a little skeptical because of the way it looked but my wife & I were very surprised as to how good this salad was. It tasted so good that we ate all of it. Thanks for the great idea. I'll be making this again very soon.

Thanks for the video. Made it, loved it! I did change a little bit. I added a lil smoked paprika. Also instead of adding salt I dashed a little hot sauce on it.

Just made this and it was delicious. When water comes to a boil I turn it off put on the lid and let it sit for 15 minutes. Drop in cold water for a few. I’m dad comes out perfect every time.

I NOW love avocado . This recipe is a must try. nine and half minutes for a perfectly boiled egg. Great Recipe

A little bit of baking soda in the water helps the eggs virtually peel themselves.

Pickle the onion in lemon juice for 20 minutes and it will change your life. 😋

I've found a fool proof way to boil eggs. I have been that fool but no more. Bring eggs to room temperature or near enough. I boil enough water to cover eggs (I figure that out before starting the boil.) Once it boils I add in the eggs with a slotted or mesh spoon. I boil eggs for 5 minutes then turn off the heat and cover them for 8 t0 10 more minutes (I don't like that slightly uncooked look.) Add the eggs to a bowl of cold water with ice cubes until the ice cubes are almost gone. Every egg, every time will peel off in large chunks of shell. It's a bit more effort but it's worth it not having to peel tiny bits of shell with egg sticking to it. I do like your way of cracking the shells. I am going to try that next time.

Another good one for me to try. Question, I was taught to make hard cooked eggs the way you do it but it was years ago in Jr high when boys had to take a half year of Home Ec class. But I never remembered the times. Thank you for giving the times. But if you cook more than 2, like say 6 or 8 for hard cooked eggs. Do you need to cook them longer because there is more in the pan? Also maybe now my eggs won't get that ugly green around the yolk.

I do my hard boiled eggs now in my air fryer. 15 to 20 minutes depending on the size of the eggs and you have perfect eggs that peel so easy. I will never boil an egg again.

I really like this recipe but you have to make sure to eat it almost right away after making it cause it gets watery after a day or so.

I always boil my eggs in my travel kettle and when it switches off I leave it for 7 minutes for soft boiled or 10 minutes for hard boiled eggs

poke a tiny hole in one end of the egg before cooking for super easy peeling

Just one hit in the center and you can easily get it instead of rolling the egg

Btw if you have high cholesterol, you can remove the yolks - whites that are boiled are actually pretty chewy! I prefer dill over parsley I just don't like it. And yes please Mayo!!!

I love this recipe but I hate the way you peel the shell off of eggs. I know you say this is the way you like to do it, so that is cool, I have the way i like to do it, and it is cool too.
