Really great tutorial! Well presented and informative, and the results look awesome. Something I don't do is clip everything out for a model, mostly because I'm an idiot and sometimes forget which bit goes where, especially on smaller parts that look fairly identical to other parts that need to be on a specific side, like leg plates on dreadnoughts and stuff, but for most models I think it's well worth I start to get everything off the sprue, beacuse swapping between clippers, knife, glue back and forth is definitely not as efficient!

Thanks for the comment Paul, as I've binged all your content it's definitely a touch surreal seeing you in the comments! Completely relate on clipping everything out and we all find a flow which works, I've made the mistake (as I'm sure many of us have) of clipping a whole squad out at once thinking I'm being efficient and then realising you've got no clue what arm goes on what torso...oops. I find in general clipping everything out for one model is great, also I know Peachy at The Painting Phase tends to put parts he's clipped out on top of the relevant part in the instructions to keep track which is kind of genius.

Do you need primer for armyspeed paint
@TinBearStudios
@TinBearStudios Год назад
You do indeed! So for speed paints to work of any sort, from Citadel to Army Painter and Vallejo, you need to paint them onto of a light base colour. So if you're new to this just go for a white/off white primer and they will work really nicely.
